The first use of this humidifier takes a few minutes to produce mist, but once the tank is full, it is almost instant mist every use after. And when I say mist, the mist is THICK, which is exactly what you want for phlegm, dry environments, or plants.This humidifier is also extremely noise friendly. I've had it on my bedstand for 2 nights in a row to keep moisture in the air as I fight mouth-breathing allergy attacks. It is quiet! Quiet enough for my husband to be comfortable with it being on all night and quiet enough where I don't wake up with a ringing headache (I am very sensitive to sounds). With it's sound, size (small but can run for about 10 hours on full blast), and mist production, this humidifier is quite ideal!

I'm in an environment where it's cold, then I go into a warm house and my skin is literally feeling the effects of the elements. It's itchy and dry one minute, seems oily the next, so when I received the HOCYHAODER Humidifier, I washed it out, added water, plugged it up and placed it on the bedside table where I started reading a book and found myself falling asleep after 30 minutes or so, which never happens, I'm a habitual insomniac, not sure if it was the effects of the humidifier, which I found soothing to glance over and see the steam rising and hear the subtle sound of the release of the steam, can't comment on any differences to my skin as yet, but I am hopeful, but I do sleep a little better. I've been using it every night since receiving, it's become part of my nightly routine.

I have a tower-style night stand, and the shelves are too small for our other humidifier. Our other humidifier also lets extra mist come out the sides which makes the shelf wet. This one is much better & doesn't gurgle near as much as our other one. I also like that it is a dark color instead of white which blends better with my black night stand. If you have a tiny table or just need this to fit into a smaller area, this is perfect! We haven't used it enough to clean it, but it looks fairly easy.

This seems to have helped my congestion that seems to happen overnight. The reservoir holds enough water so that I will turn it on at about 6 PM and let it run until the morning with the dial turned about halfway. That seems to do the trick in our bedroom. One thing I did do was put a piece of electrical tape over the on light, because it was very bright and I need to have darkness while I sleep. But if you don’t mind a little blue nightlight, then this would work for you.

The humidifier works fine and is super quiet when running. Holds enough water to get through the night at high setting. The blue light is a bit too bright for me but you can just shut it off.

This Hocyhaoder 2.2L Cool Mist Humidifier for Bedroom and Large Room has a nice, modern design and puts out a good amount of cool mist. Since it says for "large room" I expected it to be bigger with a larger footprint, but it's actually very small. I really like that it has an actual dial to turn in on and adjust the flow rate. We have ours in the baby's room on a smart switch so we can leave it at the same setting and it turns on just before bed and off in the morning. The night light is nice but, unfortunately, needs to be turned on manually each time so we don't use that feature much.I wish you could fill it without taking the entire tank off and flipping it but that's what you get with an attractive, modern design. I also wish we could turn off the "status" light - it is a pleasing blue color, but it is bright so we have to keep that covered. We get 2 nights running out of a tank of water.Overall, this humidifier, and its controls, have a cheap feel, but for the money it's probably on par and should last. Most importantly, this thing is whisper quiet. You are hard pressed to hear it at all!

This does a great job in our daughters bedroom. We have noticed that she sleeps better with a humidifier and this does a great job. You can walk into her room in the morning after it's been running all night and feel the humidity in the room. The noise level on it is very low and you can hardly notice it. It's very easy to clean and fill up with water. Overall very impressed with the quality.
