Size matters
Make sure you measure the one you're replacing. This one about an inch and half shorter than the one I was replacing. I thought they were all a standard size. I guess I was wrong.

Gets the job done
The media could not be loaded. This product is not expensive nor is it amazing. It gets the job done and slowing the close of your door.I do find it frustrating that the label is on the outside of the spring so that you can see it. Given the price - worth a purchase.

Returned it as it did not allow the door to open fully. Not long enough when opened.
Returned the unit as it did not work for me. Looking to find one that will.

Pretty good mini-door closer
As others have noted, this is not as big as what I replaced: The cylinder is only 9 1/8" long. Comes with hardware that only appears to work for an attachment to the top of the door frame, and not to the side on which the hinges attach. This reduces its leverage for pulling the door through the latch. I found that a quarter turn of the adjustment screw changed it from not fully closing, to slamming the door. I chose this because it matched my aluminum patio screen frame, because my Home Depot carried more robust models (also by Wright), but only in black or white.

Exactly perfect for light porch screen door
I was tired of the spring hinges slamming the door. This one closes nicely and works on a thin framed wood porch door.
