Great beginner's Mate
Being stainless steel there is no preparation or conditioning and clean up is super easy. I've used it every day for about 4 days now, and I love it. The Bombilla (straw) is decent quality, and best of all it is at an affordable price!! Yerba Mate is a very bitter drink, and I didn't want to spend $100 on accessories and find out I don't like it. I strongly recommend this for anyone wanting to try Yerba Mate for the first time without breaking the bank, or maybe wanting a sturdy travel Mate.

Durable and functional
I use this for my hierba mate each morning. It works great for that purpose and keeps my cup warm for a while. I love the stainless straw, too. I sometimes wish the silicone lid had a hole for the straw so I could use it in the car but at other times, I'm happy it's solid so I can pack my cup in my bag once I've finished it and want to stash it away. I always wash it by hand because I am weary of putting items of mixed materials in my high temp dishwasher.

Great faux gourd
I've only drank matte from a gourd so this is different, but the straws that it comes with and the top to keep the drink warm are great. Very impressed with the quality
