Great bang for the buck (GPS and Phone Control)
The Blue Tees Golf Ringer GPS has truly impressed me with its combination of accuracy, ease of use, and smart design. It performed well on the course in the first two rounds and the battery is holding strong so far. — Precision GPS: The GPS provides incredibly accurate yardage to the front, middle, and back of the green, as well as hazards. I had no issues with lag or incorrect distances. — Intuitive Design: The screens are well laid out and once I figured out the swipe from the top to access Settings and Phone controls -- it become pretty straight-forwarded to utilize. The Ringer GPS is lightweight and fits comfortably in my pocket or on my bag without being bulky. It's magnetic as well so it can easily attach to a push cart or your golf cart. It’s also durable enough to handle some bumps and bruises in either cart. — Easy-to-Read Display: The display is crystal-clear even in bright sunlight, ensuring I can read the distance and details at a glance, without struggling to see the screen. — Fast & Reliable Performance: The GPS synced with satellites quickly to provide real-time data. — Long Battery Life: I use the Ringer GPS for two rounds without worrying about recharging. — iPhone control and Music integration: I also used it to control music on my Bluetooth speaker (and iPhone) which was a nice bonus. I really like this feature more than I thought I would. — Affordable Pricing: For all the features it packs, it’s affordable compared to other GPS devices on the market, making it a pretty solid value. Overall, the Blue Tees Golf Ringer GPS was a pleasant surprise. For those that use Apple Watches + Phone GPS apps this may not be a replacement for them. But for those who don’t like playing with a watch on their wrists or utilizing a Laser rangefinder on every shot this is a truly viable alternative. It’s reliable, easy to use, and packed with helpful features that can make a real difference on the course.

Touchy user interface, weak magnet, glitchy Bluetooth, now doesn’t want to stay powered on
For the past four seasons I’ve been using the app Hole 19. My yearly subscription finally came to an end so I decided to look for alternatives to having to type my password in my phone after trying to Face ID while rolling around the course. I opted to go with the Blue Tees Ringer as it seemed promising for distances, shot tracking, and scoring. My feedback regarding the device: 1. I noticed in the adverts that the Ringer was showing a green colored screen. I reached out prior to purchase asking if that was standard as all the videos showed a black green. I was told the new firmware gave the green coloring. Upon receiving the device and pairing it, the only updates available were course updates and no firmware update options. With that being said, no color green. 2. The advertising says super strong magnet. The ringer does not have a viewfinder strength magnet nor a super strong magnet. Clipping it on the canopy upright on my Yamaha Drive 2 cart and the magnet strength is about a 3 out of 10. For comparison, my hand held view finder darn near needs a pry bar. The other issue is the magnet is in the center of the device, and the push button is located on the bottom of the display. The magnet does not extend down to support pushing the button which means you need to slightly hold the device when pushing the button. So add in the risk of the device dropping off the canopy bar if you’re not careful. That prevented me from keeping it on the cart and letting other family members use it as I didn't want to risk dropping or losing it. And frankly my pocket is already got a spare ball, ball marker, divot tool and tees, so the recommendation from the mfg of it being small footprint to put in the pocket is moot. Who wants more stuff in your pocket. 3. Screen functionality can be glitchy at times. Scrolling between holes by pressing the hole number sometimes moves, sometimes not. So a little more fumbling. It would be nice to be able to decide what screens you want and don’t want. I don’t need it to control music so why can’t I turn that screen off so it’s not in my way navigating the unit? 4. Tonight I decided I’m just going to return the device and look for something else. I’m not sure what the deal was but it took me a solid 30 minutes trying to get it paired to the iOS app. I finally deleted the app, reinstalled it and got it to pair. Now I’d like to reset it and when you go into the settings to reset the device (something you can’t do in the settings of the app), there is a reset icon. You can press that till the cows come home and it does nothing. There doesn’t appear to be anyway to get the device to reset. Half the time when clicking on the reset it just jumps back to the nearby course selection screen. 5. Now as I type this review, the unit is being finicky powering on. I’ve had it plugged in and battery state shows 75% (note battery is measured in 25/50/75/100% increments). Press power to turn on, display lights up to the Ringer logo and right back off. Aside from the magnet related issue, maybe I just received a glitchy unit so your mileage may vary. Back to the drawing board.

Blue Tees Golf Handlend is awesome. Love their products!
The Blue Tees Golf Ringer GPS is an absolute must-have for any golfer looking to step up their game. The magnetic attachment is super convenient, securely holding the GPS on my golf cart or any metal surface, which makes checking yardages a breeze. The device itself is very user-friendly and provides accurate distance measurements to greens and hazards, making club selection a lot easier. The sleek design and clear display are definite bonuses, especially under bright sunlight, where visibility is often an issue with other devices. The battery life is impressive, lasting through multiple rounds without needing a charge. It’s lightweight but sturdy, and the magnetic feature has never failed me even on bumpy rides around the course. Overall, it’s a game-changer that combines convenience, accuracy, and style. Highly recommend for any golfer who wants to simplify their game and boost their performance!

Great handheld golf GPS
I have used golf watches before (Garmin Fenix) and have been underwhelmed with the features. This little device was great and I love the features it packs. It feels like an old iPhone with a center button, but is very intuitive, easy to read and navigate. I like playing with it attached to the golf cart or pull cart where I can quickly reference it. It’s small enough and light enough to put in my pocket, but I don’t like stuff in my pockets beyond tees and a ball marker. I’m trying to play more spray pattern on my shots so the graphical yardage to green and hazards is helpful for me. Based on online guidance, I’ve been recharging after every 2 rounds. Haven’t tested longer, but no real need to. Quite inexpensive for a packed little device and is a nice addition to my cart to enhance my game experience.

Just very disappointed in Blue Tees
Just really disappointed. I'm a blue tees fan and have their rangefinder and speaker/player which are both awesome. I do use the blue tees app for scoring my rounds and tracking shots. I don't like carrying my iPhone in my pocket when I'm playing and I don't want to wear the Blue Tees watch, so I was excited about the possibility that the Ringer would do the trick. It is light, easy to carry and it paired to the app. I thought great. Boy was I wrong. First off the Ringer does pair to the app but for no apparent purpose? They don't sync as if they are one, meaning that if you start a round on the ringer, its NOT started on the app? Stupid. Secondly, the Ringer has a lot of screens, and you have to navigate to the right one, pain in the ass and takes away from your shot. Thirdly and most importantly, the Ringer auto-locks. The manual says to simply push the button, the ONLY button on the damn thing, to unlock it. One push, two pushes, three pushes, didn't unlock. Sometime it unlocked on 3 fast pushes. Again, it simply took away from the fun. Blue tees made things easy with player and the rangefinder. The app is easy as well, BUT again, don't like to carry the phone, so the only shot i end up tracking is the drive. Then i need to go back to the cart, unlock my phone, oh wait, take off my sunglasses because the damn phone doesn't recognize me, then log the shot, etc. Not good - takes away from the fun of it. C'mon blue tees, make a cheaper ringer that simply syncs with the app in real time and allows you to choose the club and track your shot - THAT'S IT. SIMPLE.

Broken
Wrong color delivered but not a big deal. Device would not power on despite saying 75% charged. Plugged in for 2 hours and did not move off the 75% power. Ordered a replacement so hopefully that turns out better. Edit: Ok my knock on the charging was my fault it arrived at 75% BUT I assumed it would tick up as it charged but it only changes in intervals of 25 so 25% 50% 75% and 100%. The wrong color was Amazon’s fault. It was broken (would not stay powered on) but replacement is perfect. Used today and this thing is pretty slick
