This is a great indoor or outdoor remote control car for kids or adults! It comes well packaged. The wheels expand when it’s moving which allows it to grip better on certain terrains. It tackled small obstacles on our test (which was indoors) with relative ease. It’s not that easy to control though. It doesn’t seem to have a slow mode, it is full power or no power and nothing in between. It has a gesture control wrist band that also goes on your finger, when you move your hand - the car moves, getting the car to move is not a problem but controlling where it moves to and how fast was very hard. We smashed into quite a few objects when testing it and the dog was terrified, so reverted back to the normal remote controle. I suspect an electronic savvy year old who will receive this will no doubt have sussed in no time! It does seem very durable as we crashed into the furniture at full throttle on many occasions when trying out the gesture control and everything stayed intact. It does make engine sounds and also plays some quite annoying music but it can be turned off. It also has an auto mode where it drives itself and has anti-collision technology. It comes with two rechargeable battery packs but needs 2 x AA batteries for the remote control.For the current price of £19.99, it’s extremely good value and I have no hesitation in giving it five stars!
