TopTes PT760 Rechargeable Natural Gas Detector, Gas Leak Detector with 12-inch Extendable Probe,%LEL Propane Leak Detection with Built-in Flashlight for Methane, Butane and More for Home, RV

Love it! I knew i smelled gas after installing my tank less water heater...my husband kept saying no I am just paranoid. 10 months and I finally broke down and bought this gas sniffer, and tested the gas connection on back of water heater...and sure enough alarm started beeping 😎 we have a leak. great value and works awesome!

I'm an automotive technician by trade and I'm always looking for tools to make my job easier. Diagnostics take up the most time and anything that can cut that time down helps tremendously. I saw a tool on a training video and wanted to try it out. The one in the video used disposable batteries and I wanted one that was rechargeable, so I opted for this. Evaporative leaks can be troublesome to find and this combustible gas detector seems to work great. I have included a video of my first time using it at work. Leak on this particular vehicle was detected on top of the fuel tank near the fuel pump. I highly recommend buying this or any leak detector to aid in finding or narrowing down to a location of EVAP leaks on vehicles. *edit. Reduced my rating from 5 to 1 star. Used only a couple times. Went to use it today 8/15/25 and the battery was dead. Charged it up and now it won't even turn on. 9/11/25 update. I contacted Toptes and they sent me a replacement. All I had to do was take pictures of the failed battery and provide my original Amazon order number. THANK YOU TOPTES!!!

Absolutely love this little thing, it's piece of mind to know your propane isn't leaking.

I've been an RV technician for 40 years. I've seen these devices come and go and I've owned several other ones. This one seems to work very well! I recently pin pointed a propane leak in less than 3 minutes with this device. The light on it helps alot too!

Very sensitive sniffer. I tend to smell very faint odors where others can't and had just installed a new furnace. It had a small gas leak and the detector was able to find exactly where the gas was coming from...inside the new furnace, right at the burners, which meant the internal valve was leaking. Good piece of equipment to find exactly where gas is coming from. Other pros: 1. Extendable sniffer, very helpful and doesn't affect accuracy. 2. Rechargeable, nice that it requires no batteries to buy or eventually corrode the unit. 3. The light is helpful as well. 4. Hi/Low sensitivity seems to be comparable, not much of a difference, but both work great. Highly recommend.

Best sniffer I have used on the job so far. I find a gas leak at just about every service call with this tool. Way better than the others. I have had 4 different gas sniffers in the last 5 months they all stopped working and were not nearly as good as this one. I did buy all the other cheap one before I this one. So just get this one first…

Works great, no need for batteries just recharge it

Seems to work, I pretest with propane for alerts works as shown

bon produit, à recommander

Svår att komma åt i trånga utrymmen

Egal à mes attentes, simple à l'utilisation. Bon produit.

Top Gerät zum Top Preis. Funktioniert hervorragend.
