Dirty filler rod
Rods are absolutely filthy. You must clean them to use. Don't knowANYONE who wants dirty filler rod for tig welding. Rod tube has a ridge inside the cap making it a pain in the ass to put back on if full.NOT recommended.

Good mild steel TIG filler rod
This is good ER70S-6 TIG filler rod. Works just as well as any other ER70S-6 rod I've bought from my local weld store. I've never actually seen TIG rod sold in a 16" length before. I've always bought it in 36" lengths and cut them in half if I don't want to be holding an entire rod at a time. I actually kind of like the shorter length in this 1/16" rod size. It makes it easier to work with for intricate work and I don't have to worry about having an unmarked rod half getting mixed up with my other rods like when I cut down a 36" rod. These come well packed in a durable pipe sleeve with a threaded end-cap that seals with an O-ring to prevent moisture corrosion to your filler robs. I like the storage tube although getting the cap back on can be a bit of a pain since it likes to get hung up on the end of the rods before you can get the tube threads to engage.
