At opening looked a bit dirty and maybe was used. But I cleaned it and works fine.

I really like these thermometers because they have a high and low so you can always look back and see how low it got and how high it got. But I've had these for 3 months and one of them already stopped working. That sucks, update... I had to take it out of the freezer and let it thaw out and it has worked fine ever since, I guess I got it way too cold

These refrigerator/freezer thermometers are ok. The price was reasonable. The display is easy to read and and they are easy to use. They seem accurate, when they work. One of the thermometers works well in both the fridge and the freezer, however, the other thermometer will not work in the freezer but does work in the fridge. The screen goes blank in the freezer. I'm deciding whether it's worth the hassle to return and get a different brand.

Please do not waste your money order this Thermometer. It get fogy and you can't read the temperature reading plus the battery goes out within few months. I am not so happy about this purchase. I throw them in the trash can.

Our refrigerator had been broken for a time. We got it fixed but initially weren't sure if it was keeping the proper temperature. I ordered this set of thermometers to be able to get a better gauge on what was happening with the fridge and freezer sections. The ability to hang the thermometers from the shelves is helpful. The digital readout is ever-present, which means being able to see the temperature at a glance. So far, they are holding up well and doing their job. These have been in place for about six weeks now, and I expect them to keep going for long while. The size is minimal while still getting the job done.
