Hands down the best chocolate I have tried to date. Things to note: if you are coming from milk chocolate such as Hershey’s this is likely not for you!!! This chocolate is gritty, rich, and potent. I love the texture and flavor, religiously starting my day with a quarter of the bar. Every time I have ordered it, it has come fresh and not melted (ships with an ice pack and insulation). If you want to try something special I highly recommend it!!!

First of all the shipping was so fast and packed in ice! Impressive. I wondered how chocolate would come unmelted! Bravo. Now for the chocolate. I loved it. I was searching for a 90%+ dark chocolate without much sugar that wasn't waxy like most of the brands in stores. I finally found one! This chocolate is rich and really good. I also loved the subtle crunch from the cocoa. If you are used to milk chocolate the taste is still quite shocking, as it is not sweet at all. But it isn't sour or bitter like most. And especially not waxy and fake feeling in the mouth. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good rich extra dark chocolate.

At first I thought it was a little bitter because I wasn't used to the dark chocolate without the extreme sweet taste but after I had it a few times in the limited quantity after a meal, I found the grit and taste to be an exceptional treat! This is my new favorite treat. The cost is a little much but if I use it as just a limited treat, it is my new favorite :)

We love this product for making Molé and for baking. This is strong and really allows you to taste the chocolate without the massive amounts of added sugar that many other chocolate products use. For general health we cook and bake with low amounts of sugar. This product really helps us with our goal. We highly recommend this product if you are looking for a low sugar and organic alternative to many other baking chocolates. If you do not eat sugar or have a very low sugar lifestyle, this chocolate has a mild sweetness when you eat it like a regular chocolate bar. If you do not live a low sugar lifestyle, this will taste very bitter.

I bought this thinking that it was an ecologically sustainable item. It is probably the worst tasting chocolate I’ve ever had. I don’t recommend anyone get it in the future. It is grainy and odd tasting

The product is as advertised. It is a coarse-ground cacao with a very small amount of sugar which balances the bitterness without adding too much sweetness. It's not smooth milk chocolate. It's alkali-free high concentration cacao that has texture. I buy it because I enjoy this type of chocolate and I'm looking for the healthy benefits of concentrated cacao. This isn't a Hershey bar or Nestle Krunch. The product was shipped with a cold pack and arrived perfectly.

Chocolate is great, it’s not creamy but a bit grainy which it warns you about right on the package. My biggest complaint is that 3 out of 6 bars I’ve eaten so far had fingerprints on them, these are visible the moment you unwrap the bar. I just washed the outside of the bar off and ate them anyways, but I would prefer they maybe make the employees wear gloves or something.

I am chocolate liver, and I wanted to try this brand, but I am disappointed. The one bar is too small, I did not taste any different from any other 95% of cocoa. This one costs 10$ for one bar, others will not exceed 4$. No thank you, will not buy it again.

A tad bitter. But great substitute for dark chocolate
