Hate to say but my old .carpet was really in need of a cleaning. I mean really. We used this at the max rate of 4oz per gallon of water, and it took that dirt up so well I was really pleased. My carpet is still old, but now it’s clean once again. It also has a slight mild scent that is pleasant. Better than just the smell of damp carpet, to be sure. I’ll be buying this every time we clean the carpet.
