I need a selfie stick then I found this one. Honestly I was attracted by the competitive price on Amazon. I shopped on Amazon more than 5 years and got hundres of products. Some people like this and some not. After I used it several times, I got some tips share with you guys. Hope it will help.This protable stick has two modes. For selfie stick mode, I give it 5 stars cause it has nothing uncomfortable. Great bluetooth connection and works perfectly.For tripod stand, I would say you have to get used to it. This product has some "tricky" design and not comfortable enough at first time you use. The right step is :1. extened the stick, slightly loose the bottom screw and put down the tripod stands. 2. spin the white knob (I got a pink selfie stick) to fix the stand. 3. tight the screw as possible as you can. 4. got your phone on the top and fix it tightly also. I gave some pictures shown it. If you use it as tripod stand I suggested you do not extend it too much. I saw the seller mentions this also. The best length I think should no more than 25 inch(the total is about 30 inch). You gonna find a flat enough ground to set this. It may tip over if you got the screw untightly enough. Consider it is not friendly enough for people use it first time. So I gave a 3-4 stars for trpiod stand.All above are my own opinion for this product. My wife starts to like it after she get use to it. I like travlling, I dont take many photos but sometimes we have to get couple shoot and this one helps a lot. This is not some high end product. I am not that picky guy mostly I need is a selfie stick thus personally I gave 5 star. I paid less than $10 and it helps much than that. This price is super competitive.If you need selfie stick mostly and sometimes tripod stand, this one is the best I find on Amazon.

So far it seems good. It took a while to figure out how to use the tripod. I spent about 30 minutes trying to connect the remote with my phone. Turned ot the battery was dead. It says it should last a couple of years but it didn't even make the trip to me. Very disappointed I had to put out more money to get it to work.

It was difficult (impossible) to get this thing to stand up. Then it fell apart. Then it couldn't even be used as a selfie stick. Then it was trash.

Stand was Broke when took out of box... was adv I needed to send back and pay shipping. Remote only worked when up close to stand.

Very easy to use. Best selfie stick ever. Great value.

The tripod doesn't work at all. It tips over whenever I try to use it, and my phone falls to the floor.
