A product that rises to the task
I love this product. I have been baking bread for nearly fifty years and this is the only yeast for me now.

Rises to the occasion!
It's fresh, it's active and it makes an excellent loaf of bread. It arrives with a cooling pack and always within a few days of placing the order. There are twelve 42gram cubes in the pack and that gives me enough for 18 loaves of bread, before I order some more. I use 4 fresh from the pack on arrival and freeze 8. They have a few hours at room temperature to bring them back to life and they then behave as if they were fresh from "Bonbouffe". I have been using this yeast for many years now since it is impossible to buy it locally. Highly recommended.

Keeps well and is fresh
Great product. I’ve been buying this fresh yeast for a while now for my breads. I keep it in the freezer and usually cut a piece (8g) that is needed and return the rest in the freezer. It keeps well. It smells like yeast should smell and it works great both in hand kneading breads as well as bread machines (put in the bottom of your bread machine followed by dry ingredients). Very pleased with this product and would recommend it.

Works really well, but I found out the hard way you cannot freeze as it just turns to liquid when defrosted. I still tried but the freeze process killed the strength

Dead yeast.
I have been using this yeast for years and it has been very good but my last two orders were delivered in a cardboard envelope with an inadequate amount of ice, which resulted in the yeast being warm and dead. Ended up in the bin. Shame.
