This is a nice, solid bird statue that served as a complement to our bird bath. It's heavy enough to tolerate the wind without falling over, but light enough to set it on something delicate like a table top. As the statue and its paint weathers, I believe it will appear more natural in our outdoor setting. It did come with some scuffs on the paint that wouldn't wipe off, but I have to remember it is made for a more rustic environment. It appears durable enough to withstand the harsh environment of our Colorado weather. I wouldn't recommend leaving it out in a hail storm though.
