The fabric is synthetic. I didn’t return because of its low price. But I’m not using it.

No consistency
I purchased two masks from here, one grey and one black. They are totally different. The grey is as described and comfortable, but it doesn’t block the light out so it’s not very useful. The black looks very different from what is advertised, it’s slimmer, comes with heavy gel eye patches and has a zipper on top that makes it uncomfortable because it cuts into your skin, it blocks out the light though. The fabric is fine on both.

Stained very bad
Night the black one, stained my bedsheets, kept staining even after washing several times. Has a bad design as the Velcro will pinch the fabric and make it look awful after just a few uses

Total Blackout!
This black silk mask is perfect for people needing to block ABSOLUTELY ALL LIGHT. It's adjustable with an overlapping velcro back. It's lightly cushioned but not bulky. It's very light. I can barely feel it on. And because it's silk, it doesn't get hot. It's nice and wide and fits perfectly over the nose. I once asked my husband to turn off his light and go to sleep and he told me "it's already off" haha! I couldn't even tell. This is lightweight and perfect for travellers too. I got all my family members one each for gifts.

Thick, soft, comfortable all night long
Gets the job done, stays on most nights, so soft and great for sensitive skin. Light blocking 9/10. Fit 8/10. Not to tight around my head, so I don’t get headaches like I have with other similar products. Cost a little more than I wanted to spend on something to cover my eyes but it is machine washable and has lasted me awhile. It is fluffy and thick, which I didn’t like at first but it has grown on me.
