F150 2015-2020 1"-2" Drop Kit Leveling Lowering Shackles Rubber Bushing

I installed these shackles on a 2016 f-150 2wd sport. After installing on the 2” setting my rear sits between 1/4”-1/2” higher than the front. I did have to notch the bed support. I like that they were painted grey because it matched my trucks color. The notching of the aluminum bed support it the hardest part. Also you will have to jack up the axle assembly to get the top shackle bolt out. It is not a job for those who do not regularly do automotive work.This pick is of the tuck with shackles installed with new Cooper Discoverer H/T plus 305 50 R20 tires.

Good ride height and well fabricated, however, bushing design allows the shackle to articulate too much under normal driving conditions. That effect is amplified with the leaf in the farthest position. If the shackle had bushings that extended outboard to the edges of the bolt sleeve like other designs it would eliminate this issue.

Can be a pain to install without a lift but not impossible. Bolt holes on shackles have the same coating inside as they do outside, run the bolts through and tighten them up before you try installing to clear out the coating inside. The shackles themselves are good quality. Had them on for 2500 miles and no squeaks or noises. Used 1” hole and removed factory 4wd lift blocks for 2”drop. Rear of truck sits about 3/8” higher than front.

Well constructed. Installed them in about 2 hours in my driveway. I did have to notch my bed support but it was no big deal. They got here fast and well packaged. Realistically, I’ve bought big name suspension parts before and was a little skeptical. I’m glad I saved a few bucks. It dropped my truck right at about 2”.

The two in leaves the truck a little saggy. The one-and-a-half is perfect but what I did not like was the ride was just to bouncy it lost all support in the back.
