We've used this product before and used to be able to buy it from TK Maxx. It wasn't as expensive as it is now but it does last along time so the price hike isn't so bad. It's great on salmon before you cook it. It's stays dry and is easy to grind. It has a good texture and is great for the extra flavour while cooking

Great salt
Great salt, subtle smoky flavour, not over powering but can taste. Grinds well but only allows for average medium fine grind, can't adjust. And not refillable which is not very eco.

Great taste
Ordered this product after viewing a vegetarian recipe that called for smoked salt ( I never knew it existed). I am so happy to have discovered this. I have never tried another brand, so I do not have anything to compare it to, but I am very happy with this product. The grinder works fine, though the salt is quite coarse (which I like anyhow) once it is ground. The smoke smell is simply delicious and I feel like I just came from a camp fire! I definitely recommend and will purchase again. As a matter of fact i just went to order 2 more for family members to try and it is unavailable now :(
