Citric Acid, 8 lb, Multipurpose, Cleaner & Food Preservative

8 pounds of affordable citric acid, I'm on well water and I find this good for cleaning up rust stains or clearing the shower head without extremely harsh cleaners. I haven't tasted the product but I use it in my dishwasher and have also used it in the bathroom where there's rust stains from my well water.

This citric acid has been great. I use it in my toilets, for bath bombs, and cleaning my coffee pot. This container seals so the product stays fresh and moisture free. It contained more than the advertised weight, and has worked just as well as other brands I’ve used. I prefer this canister over the bag storage method, so I would buy this one again.

I use citric acid for cleaning as well as in making my own tonic water syrup, so I was excited to find it in bulk. This is excellent quality citric acid, and the container is easy to handle and convenient for storing. I'm very happy with this citric acid.

This citric acid has been great in both cooking and cleaning applications. It is, of course, very sour. Mixed with a bit of sugar it makes a great coating for sour gummy bears. It’s also a great cleaning agent and much more pleasant smelling compared to vinegar. The tub is large, but convenient storage. I like that the opening is big enough for me to scoop out what I need. 8lbs is a lot, but when you use it for cleaning it goes fast and the large size makes it a nice value.

I like citric acid, it is a versatile household and kitchen tool. It can be used to make homemade cleaners, and even lemonade. I use it in the kitchen all the time to bolster the flavor of fruit dishes, especially ones mith lemon, and to even make lemonade myself. This is what I did for the review. It is food grade, with nutrition information on the label. The lemonade was very tart and delicious. I make gummy candy with this as well, and cannot wait to use it in one of my recipes. Citric acid is a standardized product much like basic salt. The reason I am giving it 5 stars is flavor but mainly the price ($35 day of review) that makes it a great value.

I liked the Luonix Citric Acid. I mainly use it for cleaning purposes, especially appliances in my kitchen such as the coffee pot or kettle. It's particularly great for cleaning my electric water boiler. It saves me a lot of money compared to buying those small citric acid cleaner packets for cleaning my water boiler. I also use it to clean my humidifier. This huge container will last me a long time. There are also many other uses for citric acid that I will have to check out.

Arrived in perfect condition. Another reviewer mentioned using it to descale, so I tried it on my electric kettle. I put about a teaspoon in with a bit of water. In around 10 or so minutes, it completely removed the buildup. Before, I've been using vinegar but the citric acid has no smell. Practically a decade+ supply if I just use it as a descaler.
