Good product
Works perfectly. Does not say anywhere that it to is automatic. Cables are a little too short, be prepared to extend with connector block and marine sealant unless your bilge is less than 1/2 metre below your power supply. To connect to a float switch for "automatic" use just connect neutral to neutral of cheap float switch which for convenience you can connect to unit with simple elastic band. Personal Tip.(prob not best practice but..) .connect ends to a mains plug with a nice long lead and thicker mains wire. Then you can use a simple mains plug switch (about 1.50ukp) connected to your battery (with a blade fuse inline) which is easier than most dc switches and can be used thereafter for multiple 12v sources without rewiring etc .. Of course you better mark it 12 volt only otherwise I leave results to your imagination. I have very very dirty bilge with silt and rocks .. Unit has been perfectly clean and clear everytime I checked. The Head is only 1.5 to 2m so for some applications you may need to extend hose down below bilge to get it going.

Quick to fail - Item was replaced - Thanks
Excellent at first but did not last 6 months. On checking the listing now, I can see that the returns policy only lasted about 6 weeks which seems ridiculous. I would expect a Seaflo product to last longer than a few weeks. However, fair play to seller as they sent a replacement. Thank you.

It was useful, wanted to drain water in pool and sump. < 6ft height I used. But has been used for more than 1 year and it worked well, still working. The power supply I replaced multiple times. But the pump is good. I bough a backup pump just in case. I cannot provide pics or videos, as I don't have it now. They can provide a power supply or works with input 220V is the only improvement.

Pumping water from tank

I use this with a 100 watt solar cell to pump water a short distance over a dam. The height difference is only about 30 cm (1') and the total pipe is 1.3 m (4'). Measured flow during full sun is 20 litres per minute. Or about 5 gallons. This is comparable to a garden hose. It draws less than 3 amps, and the solar cell is capable of 8 amps. A pretty reliable little pump. Not quite as much water as advertised, but in a practical application it is fine for clearing a small boat or filling a pond slowly.

Excellent pump for all purposes..very small in size but very powerful..can pick out water even at very low level of 2 inches depth which most pumps can't..bought in 2021 and and still working well..

The product stopped working in 15 days and no message response from the seller. It came across as a Very good product name n the first 2 weeks, produces more water and force than a 0.5 hp AC motor.
