Korg TM-70T Tuner & Metronome w/Sound Out, Transpose & Chromatic - Black

I initially tried one of those fancy, full-color, and slightly less expensive tuner/metronomes , thinking the extra features and colorful display might be an improvement. In practice, I found it confusing, inconvenient to operate, and ultimately more of a distraction than a useful tool. There were simply too many features and too much fiddling required for something that should be quick and straightforward to use. Thank you, Amazon, for the easy return. I replaced it with the Korg TM-70T and haven’t looked back. This is a great example of a product that does exactly what it’s supposed to do and does it well. The controls are logically laid out, the display is clear and easy to read, and using the tuner and/or metronome functions is simple and intuitive. Instead of trying to remember what various multi-function buttons do, I can turn it on and get to work. What I especially appreciate is that the TM-70T feels like it was designed by people who understand how musicians actually use a tuner and metronome. When I’m practicing, I want the device to disappear into the background and let me concentrate on playing—not become another piece of technology demanding my attention. The Korg costs a little more than some of the colorful alternatives, but I think the difference is money well spent. I'd much rather pay a few extra dollars for a well-designed tool that makes practicing easier than save a little on something that becomes a hindrance. If you want flashy graphics and the promise of lots of features, there are other choices. If you want a dependable, straightforward tuner/metronome that simply does its job well, the Korg TM-70T is a rock-solid choice.

Excellent tuner and metronome which is nicely compact and easy to use

Great tuner and metronome great price and helps a lot when I need to tune my instruments I can fit it in my case easily because it is so small and it is very loud but can be turned down which is great 👍 very good metronome definitely recommend

I'm very pleased with this unit. I've had various tuners and metronomes over the years and this is my favorite so far. Changing the reference pitch for tuning (e.g., to 432Hz or 440Hz) is very simple and straightforward, just an easy touch of the button up or down to the desired frequency and I'm good to go. The metronome is also simple to use, and the volume is adjustable. I'd buy it again for sure.

I've always like the Korgs and this one is pretty good to. One thing that's new to this one that I've not noticed on my other Korgs, is that the images on the screen disappears if you tilt it a certain angle from you. This makes it harder to lay the tuner out flat and tune your guitar with both hands. So I took a star away as it's pretty frustrating.

I started taking guitar lessons last month and needed a tuner and a metronome. I didn't want to use a metronome app on my phone, so I opted for this tuner and metronome combo and I'm very happy with it. I don't understand all the features yet, but the metronome has lots of different speeds for practicing and the tuner is easy to use. It props up for when I'm using it as a metronome (though I usually just prop it against the music stand) and it fits in the accessory compartment of my guitar case. Very highly recommended!

Great tuner. More is always the best. Great price point. Works perfectly.

Great tool for a beginner.

Tuner perceives different sounds and shows different notes constantly while tuning, makes it hard to use.. metronome works good.
