As someone who places a high value on quality and durability, I wasn't convinced that a vegan leather alternative could meet my standards, let alone exceed them. But, oh, was I wrong! It’s pretty good, but is showing more wear in a month of daily wear than I would expect.

I've now had my Corkor belt for over 1 year, wearing it about 4 days a week for both work and casual use, and it's held up well, with only some mild fraying in highly chafed areas (near where I buckle it), along with a slight bump/bulging where the buckle metal thing pokes through... but none of this is really noticeable when the belt is buckled. There are numerous tiny, very thin specks of lighter color (exposed cork?) around the very edges of the otherwise black belt, likely from wear and tear, but they don't bother me, as they add a tiny bit of texture and roughness that seem consistent with the belt's style. Overall, it's a solid belt with a great look, especially if you're looking for a non-plastic-y vegan alternative to leather.

I've been vegan for two years now but have struggled to find vegan shoes and belts. I'm still looking for good replacements for leather shoes I wear but with this belt, I have finally found a belt that is not a compromise to leather. It's tough, flexible, and attractive. It is basically indistinguishable from a leather belt. Great product and I'm a happy customer.

Good looking, good feel. Seemingly a good vegan belt alternative to the other plastic, fabric or leather options. However, I had a tough time with the belt loop where the end of the belt is supposed to slide through after selecting a notch for the belt buckle to hold. It was way too tight and I thought it had to break in and while it did a little over time, that never really solved the high friction and tightness of the belt loop and unfortunately this led to the fraying of a small amount of the sides of the belt. While initially disappointed, I did end up finding a solution: unscrewing the belt and rearranging the position of the belt loop on top of the belt so I had more room to slide the belt through and thus end the high friction and fraying of the belt end. The problem seemed to be the belt loop needing to be stacked on top of the belt in the belt buckle area where the screw is instead of underneath. This repositioning of the belt loop avoids causing the belt end to become too tight and get stuck or casuing fraying from forcing it through the belt loop. Anyways, nice try with this vegan belt but after figuring this belt loop rearrangement out I will say the overall design needs more quality assurance and testing to make sure the product doesn't become a burden to use or fail from regular use so early. Lastly, I do not feel confident in the durability of the belt especially since it frayed so early and I had to make the adjustment of the belt loop myself instead of the belt loop working as is. Time will tell. If you end up with this belt and have the same problem, try rearranging how the belt loop is positioned with the method mentioned above or try the metal reversible option that the company sells.

I've been using this belt daily for months now and I'm very happy. At first I was nervous because cork doesn't seem like a durable material. I was also concerned by how lightweight it is. This thing supports my beer belly like a champ! It still looks new and works both for jeans and as a dress belt. Being vegan, I didn't want a leather belt. This was expensive but worth the investment.

Good quality and good design. Great humane option to leather. Every bit as good.

Una volta tanto si puo' parlare di un prodotto che non e' costruito in Cina ma bensi in Portogallo, realizzato completamente a mano e' molto curato, nella confezione e' presente anche un piccolo attrezzo (punteruolo) per fare dei fori supplementari. Io porto una 50 e la misura "L" e' risultata perfetta, non e' molto che la uso ma devo dire che il prodotto sembra solido e duraturo, anche se non ho mai avuto cinture in sughero devo dire che mi ha piacevolmente colpito. Prodotto altamente consigliato, vale tutti i soldi che costa!

Je ne m'attendais à rien puisque c'est fait en liège. Après quelques semaines, je dois dire que c'est plus fort que les faux-cuir que j'ai eus.

Excelente producto. Muy buena calidad y fácil de adaptar a la medida. Con respecto a durabilidad ya veremos si soporta el uso diario.
