I have been using the same leash with the classic clip for my dog for about 2 years and recently, the clip started failing while on walks. Thankfully she was always close by for me to grab without getting away. I was searching for a leash with a locking carabiner without the bungee material which was hard to find. I finally stumbled upon Made to Roam and couldn’t buy it fast enough! I have only used it for a few days so far, but I love the lightweight material and the quality is great too! The auto locking carabiner is the best part in my option and I feel very confident that my dog will not come unattached at any point on our walks. I can’t speak to the long term durability yet, however I foresee this lasting awhile. I love the range of colors and the price is great too. You need this leash!!

Well made, comfortable to hold, subtle blue color and the carabiner is easy to use and secure. Overall, the best leash we ever had.

Received a product with either dirt or fog good down near the latch attachment where the plastic part holds the rope together. It’s a beautiful product & it’s a lovely color. However, it arrived dirty & with over a dozen small snags in the leash/rope. So either it was made with damaged product or somebody had a mouthy dog get hold of it. Idk. I purchased this bc I learned it was a small business & as a former small business owner I like to support them at every chance. This item is going back bc of the shape it arrived in. The product itself appears to be quality made which is annoying to need to return it bc it is quite lovely and has a decent heft to it which I’ll need with my Great Pyrenees. Sadly, I have issues with the design of the matching collar as it it does not lie flat tho it is absolutely quality made & quality product. Just a serious design issue for me. I prefer that my leash and collars match so idk if I’ll order another one rn. Maybe later bc I do like to have a heavy duty spare with two service dogs, but as this arrived damaged it will not be this one. I also wish the hardware was about 1/4”-1-2” larger as some of my harnesses attach with two buckle rings around the dogs bodies and not just one buckle so a larger hardware piece is easier for this old lady to handle with arthritic hands. Overall tho: it’s a quality made product. I can’t ideal to the fabric involved bc mine arrived damaged & idk if it was from factory or a previously returned item. Tho the fact that it has a dozen snags does give me pause.

I was not prepared for how well made this collar and leash are. The attention to detail is top notch, the metal clasp on the collar and D ring are very sturdy. The leash has strong swivel hook to avoid twisting and is very strong. The leash is soft and flexible while remaining very sturdy. Beautiful and functional!

This isn’t our first purchase from Roam so we knew we’d be getting yet another high quality product from them. LOVE the sturdiness and high quality of the hardware on the leash. It definitely feels like you’re getting good value for your money. Works great for adventures with our border collie. We attach it to the Roam harness which I also highly recommend!

This is a nice, stylish, good quality leash but I find the O-Ring uncomfortable on the grip and noisy when walking it clanks. The carabiner is tedious to open. I think the price is a bit high for what you get.

Very nice looking leash, strong well made, I like that the carabiner isn’t too large and the leash comes in a wide variety of nice colour options.
