This worked on WAW285H2UC/20
This fit WAW285H2UC/20 I tried to turn / unscrew the original one. It only turned about a quarter way. Checked the manual they don’t say unscrew just turn counter clock wise. Figured that something was stuck in it. Ordered a new one. Checked the web saw a service video that shows taking the whole front off. Which means unstacking the dryer and digging in. A wrench wouldn’t move past the locked up point. I was stuck. I was able to lightly... LIGHTLY drill the center out around the Handle to unscrew. My plan was to push up the obstruction and unscrew. The drain plug just shattered and unscrewed on its own. We found a small amount of junk in there and a hair pin which was holding the plug in. Didn’t take Long to get this done. Have down for run off water.
