Really very very good
When I saw these open earphones, I was intrigued by the idea because my worst gripe about my AirPods is that I have to pause the music or remove the earphone to be able to hear people talking to me. Yes, these are expensive - so I tried a cheap brand, just to see if the concept worked. It did, but the sound quality wasn’t good. So I decided to give these a try, and I’m glad I did. Their performance is light years ahead of others. They’re very easy to put on, the flexible earpiece clips around your earlobe gently and they are comfortable for many hours of use - I’ve worn them all day and night without issues, only removing them to charge them via the case, which is nice & quick. They don’t interfere with my glasses at all, I can put them on and remove them without touching the earphones. And, best of all, they don’t fall off or out of your ear, even if you’re headbanging! I’m mobility impaired so don’t go running but I reckon they’ll be great for runners. Because they’re Bose, you have an expectation of great audio quality… and they don’t disappoint, especially in immersion mode, where the sound is amazing and really does seem to be positioned very slightly in front of you. There are 2 immersion mode settings, one where the positioning changes with your head movements, and one static where it doesn’t. Although the earphones don’t go in your ear like traditional earphones, the OpenAudio technology sounds just as good as if they were, without making the music audible to other people. The sound is fantastic for all kinds of audio and music, I have very eclectic tastes and the only type of music they don’t excel for is bass music where very low frequencies are the norm, but I’ve never come across earphones that are great at this, it’s their size. I have larger over ear headphones and a stereo with a big subwoofer for that type of music! They’re as good for listening to ambient music and soundscapes eg Sigur Ros, electronic music like Ladytron and classical music as they are for listening to the latest rock, pop and dance music. They sound great with Spatial Audio/3D audio too. I also find them great for laying in bed listening to audiobooks, they don’t hurt like other earphones can when you turn on your side and they’re pressed against the pillow. How do they get on in a noisy environment? Great. They have an auto volume function that can increase/decrease the volume based on the sounds around you, and maximum volume is loud - you wouldn’t have them turned up to the top for normal usage, I have them set at less than half volume pretty much all the time. You can control volume, playback, sound mode and even your voice assistant using the buttons on each earpiece, a click, double/triple click or long hold allows several controls to be used with just one button. I found the button to actually be better to use than the touch sensitive stalk controls on other earphones mainly because you don’t accidentally activate it so easily if you adjust the position of the earpiece. If you’re intrigued by these earphones but the price concerns you, give them a try… I realised what a good investment they are once I tried them, and use them far more than I have any other earphones ever, because they’re comfortable, don’t fall out of my ear, the sound quality is amazing and they let me hear as much of my environment as I want/need to. They’ve replaced my over ear headphones as my day to day listening buddies. They’re pricey, but they’re worth it. A definite two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻

Great sound,quality 5*
Most weird and nice sound experience, need to get use to it,i am ex Samsung galaxy buds 3 pro. user and bose a way better in some ways, they do stay always in and i don't feel them at all, sound quality is very good and loud for open ear buds, comfort and build quality 5*simple controls, good phone app, after update, many improvements. At down side call quality is not great and no noise canceling, for me they suit well, used while mtb, run, gym,no fear you will lose it,so Samsung buds will go for sale.

Massively impressive piece of technology that does a great job
Amazing earbuds which I used for road race running where headphones and in ear earbuds are not allowed for safety reasons Sound quality incredible A very nice fit over the outer part of the ear (Prima/Auricle) Very easy and quick to connect to my IPhone Charging case slim a colour coded (same as earbuds) colour choice nice In some situations the amount of external noise (which you can hear) can overwhelm the sound from the earbuds and to resolve this I simply turned the volume up I was so impressed I bought a second pair for my daughter. massively impressive, high quality, very easy to use and good looking piece of tech that allows me to listen to music and hear my pacing prompts so I don’t go out too fast too early Highly recommend

So comfortable
These earbuds are excellent and exactly what I've been waiting for. I'm not going to go over the specs as this has been covered in other reviews. I'll just comment on how I use them. I wanted these earbuds to wear around the house and listen to my music and sport on the radio whilst being able to watch tele and talk to my family at the same time and they are perfect for this. The comfort of this product is top notch, you hardly realise that you are wearing them and you can go all day with little ear fatigue at all. Sound quality is obviously important, and to me, if you use the product as intended, the sound quality is very good. These are not meant to be played at high volumes as you lose the ability to hear your surroundings. If you go over about 50% volume, you do lose some of the low and high definition which is expected in open style earbuds, but they are very good below this level. Phone calls are probably the weakest part of these earbuds. When talking to my wife on the phone she said that I sounded very quiet and 'far away'. Hopefully this will be addressed in a firmware update. According to some YouTube reviewers, multi point connected is coming soon with a firmware update which will be nice. Overall, I am very happy with these. I wear them all day! Are they worth the price? Maybe not, but I don't regret buying them. Update: Multipoint has been added along with improvements to the microphones for phone calls.

Do not ignore other reviews. Do not buy.
Great idea, great sound, great comfort but sadly in real terms a truly awful piece of kit. I couldn't believe the reviews so I bought a pair. They arrived and had a crackle on the left bud. So I returned. Next pair couldn't hold a Bluetooth connection for more than a minute. The reviews are true. Do not buy them. I can't believe they are able to sell them.

Ok but maybe not worth the price tag.
They are ok. Sound quality is good. These are not good in a noisy place, best used when it is generally quite quiet. Not sure they are worth the money. For example the case feels really cheap. Compare that to the quality feel of the cheaper Apple AirPods.

Finally, no ear fatigue and with great sound too!
After owning various Bose headphones over the years, I was dubious about the reviews of these, as Bose has failed to hit the heights of the QC35s, in my opinion... Thankfully, though, I think we have a classic on our hands again! I was almost instantly blown away by the fit and sound of these. Don't get me wrong, they don't sound as good as over-ears, but that's not what these are for, and they certainly don't sound bad at all. But the fit... no more sweaty ear canals, no more ear fatigue. I don't even care that there's no noise cancellation—these are perfect! I bought these to replace my AirPods Pro, mainly because of the sweaty ear issue, but also due to how poorly the AirPods connected with my iPhone during phone calls. If I already had them in my ears, there was no issue, but if I had to take them out of the case to answer the phone and continue working, more often than not, the caller would be sent to voicemail by the time the AirPods connected to my iPhone. Very frustrating. Cue the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds... They connect immediately every time from out of the charger, so I can answer the call right away—exactly what I needed. The immersive sound works well. In fact, the sound overall is fantastic, yet you can still hear everything around you. They don't fall out of your ears at the gym. They have physical buttons that you can customise in the Bose App. There are quite a few options in the app too, from EQ to firmware updates—it all works rather well. You can now have multi-point Bluetooth connections, thanks to the firmware updates (something that was lacking upon release). The sound quality during phone calls is good too, and you can hang up with a press of the physical button, so there's no need to grab the phone or rush to where it is when you end a call. Everything just works, and it works well. The fit—this is the game-changer for me. If, like me, you wear headphones for a while, you're probably familiar with ear fatigue. Not with these, though—yesterday I had them in for 5 hours, and if it weren't for the playlist ending, I would have forgotten they were in my ears. They are well-built, easy to clean, and easy to charge. The look might not be for everyone, but nothing ever is—these are for people who don't need over-ear headphones, for people whose in-ear headphones irritate them or fall out during exercise, or for those who are outside and don't like the artificial feel of "Transparency Mode." They're great and perfect for me. I think they'll be perfect for a lot of people too. Well done, Bose. I think you finally have another classic on your hands here.

Great idea , badly executed
I am gutted about these earbuds . The idea is brilliant but they regularly fail to charge in wireless charging case and I wasn’t aware that the return window was so small . When they work they are genius and super comfortable , when they don’t they are a royal waste of money and I have returned to using my Grooves equivalent which were a quarter of the price . Such a shame , Bose normally nail this stuff .

Not as bad as I had feared.. pretty good for what it is
My only concern about these Open Earbuds was how bad is the No-bass earbuds, like is it like the Shokz where there is absolutely NONE or is it just a like a bunch of pencil taps. I think I would compare it to the Quest where the sound is all around you with the bass definitely there but subdued like listening to an open air concert and you are standing in the car park. The bass is implied with some sub bass effect. Also the placement of the earbuds are really important where the bottoms of your ears where your earlobes are, is the best position for the most bass.... if only I could curl the earbuds inwards where the sound would feed directly into my ear canal but the best I could do is feed the sound upwards into my amphitheatre of my ears and you can tell by tilting the earbuds slightly into your ears on how much more bass you get. The bass is there somewhere and I can almost say I'm good but it could have been better. Here is the thing, the whole reason that I bought these very expensive earbuds is not for the lossless music played by Tidal but rather to wear to go shopping (listen to the music in the background), or even watch movies on my phone and at the same time be aware of everything around me. I need that awareness as I feel claustrophobic when I cannot hear my surroundings; like listening to music when I am waiting for a package to be deliver. I love the openness and the next time I go shopping for groceries I will be wearing these earbuds. The whole problem though.... is the price.... I absolutely don't think they are worth the price which is the same price of the best noise cancelling headphones on the market. I think the price of these earbuds should be much much cheaper and with that said.... for the price the earbuds are rated 1 star but if you are looking for open earbuds, these are it.... and not the shokz.

A music revolution
These open ears changed the way I enjoy music thoroughly. High grade open ear listening through buds so comfortable you forget you are wearing them after a while simply is a whole new experience. Listening to music is no longer an activity, rather music is layered onto every aspect of your life. It's like living with your own personal soundtrack. I own or have owned two types of Shokz and the Anker C41 open ears but their quality and fit are just not good enough to attain the same seamless experience. I'm addicted to these things. Which is just as well, as the first pair got battery issues within two weeks. Buyer beware: Buy with a clear returns policy. Also, it actually takes some fiddling to find the best fit. Even then, you might have to boost bass if they end up being a tad too small. But despite all that, I love these earbuds and what they do for me. I am seriously considering getting a second pair to bridge inevitable recharge downtime. They're that good.

Was soll ich sagen?

Chic, comfy & premium sound
I bought this on promotion for my husband, a real audiophile. Someone that has a collection of Mojo, headphones, buds (NC, open), KEF giant speakers... Verdict: good, he is satisfied. Pros: Chic, confortable & premium sound quality! Cons: - Price, quite expensive even if it's on promotion. - Samsung phones: you need an adapter (extra €59+) to enjoy the LOSSLESS feature. Using LDAC setup of Samsung won't max your investment for this premium open buds.
