Could use More Details
I finally cleared a spot on my workbench so I could fire this up and give it a test. It's pretty light for basically a bench grinder. It is low speed so don't expect to use to cut or shape metal unless you have a lot of free time. Everything attached and tightened up as you would expect, although the instructions could use a little more detail on setting up the sharpener. There is a adjustment knob you have to install which I assume is to push on the motor to tighten the drive belt. The diagram is a little difficult to follow but once you locate the slot for the nut it makes more sense. There is also a screw on the side you must remove that is used to keep things from moving around during shipping. I tried to use the universal support that holds the Sharpening Jig but I found it easier to just free hand the sharpening process for my Knife. I did use it on 2 of my more beat up chisels and it removed most of the chips and dings pretty quickly. I feel this tool is mainly geared toward those who know how to sharpen blades and chisels but are looking to streamline the process. The tool is pretty quiet and the rubber feet keep it from moving around despite how light it is.

A lot of vibration.
The grinder is quite pricey for the quality and the limited work it does. It vibrates a lot, even after mounting it to the workbench. It has a nice weight and feel, but the wheels included are suitable for rough sharpening only. I'll have to get a finer grit wheel as well as a buffing wheel to sharpen my shop chisels. I think the cost of the grinder is out of line with the quality.
