I do not wear the hijab, but I am. a Christian woman who covers my head when I pray or in a worship service. I always have a scarf handy to use for this purpose, and I thought this scarf would be a good choice since it is designed for head covering. If I could give a more precise rating I would go for 4.5 stars. The scarf is not perfect, but is very good.What I like:-the material is very pretty. It has a subtle sheen that gives it some interest without being flashy.-the fabric seems very durable. You can tell that this fabric was designed or selected for everyday use. It doesn't LOOK like a workhorse fabric--it looks like something. you might use in a very pretty dress. But you can tell when you feel it that it is going to be durable--it's not going to snag or pill easily.-it's very lightweight. This is very nice for me, since, as I said, I take a scarf with me everywhere. I like having one that folds or rolls up compactly to fit in my purse--which this does.-it's opaque enough. Some people I know that practice head covering use a lace scarf for covering, but I prefer something that is not see-through.-it's neutral. The light gray color can be worn with pretty much anything without clashing, which is nice.The only thing I don't love about it is that the fabric slides off my head easily. Some scarves I have tend to stay put better, and this is not the worst offender by far, but it does have to be pulled back up and adjusted periodically if I wear it for a whole worship assembly. I could probably use a bobby pin to solve this problem, but I wish It would just stay in place. However, the qualities of this particular fabric are not right for that.Over all, I am very pleased with this scarf and I'm glad I got it.

What a lovely shade of pink! Will be using this for nights out in the spring and summer to dress up my outfits. just as pictured.

Exactly the color as in the photograph, and nice and soft. It's also a good size.Sometimes things mail order have a weird smell when they arrived, but this did not. Very pleased.

This scarf is beautiful. It's big enough to use it as a hijab, shawl, or scarf! I got the lavendar color and it's more vibrant and prettier in personThe quality was much higher than what I had anticipated. The results of a "silk blend" are completely unpredictable. Just be aware that this scarf material is on the thinner side.
