I'm using it in a loft, so it's just hanging from a rafter and pointed in the general direction of the nearest TV tower about 5 miles away. Signal it pics up is mediocre at best, but I'm far more used to HD content streamed via the internet or via my freesat system. So a terrestrial signal always looks garbage to me... However, a terrestrial signal 'is' garbage compared to streaming 1080p & 4k content at much higher bitrates.

It's an aerial, it picks up a TV signal... you just have to know which direction to point it in. I'm using it in a loft, so it's just hanging from a rafter and pointed in the general direction of the nearest TV tower about 5 miles away. Broken by birds?
This product is 11 months old and as of this morning I found 4 middle sections have broken off and were on the ground. Must have been a Crow or Pigeon landing on them. However this should have lasted longer than 11 months. Aerials used to last donkeys years and numerous landings of birds so why not now? I have .contacted the seller as it's less than 12 months old so lets see what happens.
