Only 1 small downside
So far I've had a very good experience. I popped the body color plastic forward piece off to replace with that from my old mirror, to match the red body color, that worked fine, the one that came with it was black. It mounted fine with the bolts and the connector. The adjustment motor works fine, the glass is fine, I haven't yet tested the heated component for lack of snow. Once I got this one installed, I checked the puddle light and it was working, but the old one on my driver side was not. So I ordered the Dorman replacements. Once I installed on the drivers side I realized the aftermarket puddle lights are much brighter than the originals, including on this KoolVue mirror. So I replaced both the puddle lights. The one downside to this mirror is that there were no connectors that I could just remove and replace the new light. I had to cut the wire, strip it, install a connector, then install my light. But no biggie. Other than that small delay, I really like this mirror, and strongly recommend buying the new aftermarket puddle lights. The light pictured is the new aftermarket one, not the light that came with the mirror.

Amazing! The mirror is perfect. Installed in minutes after removing the damaged mirror front mirror cover by slowly prying till cover came free, to match the other side. Fits perfectly. Wife is impressed.

Perfect Fit on 2008 Ford Edge Limited
Fit perfect on my 2008 Ford Edge Limited. I loved how the top piece was packaged separately. (Painted part on my edge). I was able to pop off the old top cover, as this wasn’t damaged and install on the new mirror. Looks and works perfectly!!!

While it fits well, the left / right adjustment motors do not work. But at least I can see behind me now.
