I wasn’t sure if this would be a good option but I gave it a shot. You have no idea how sturdy this thing is. I highly recommend it and easy 5 stars. It’s easy to use and take off to wash, all you have to do is pop the pin at the top and you can remove the inner part to wash it. Easy to use, size as described , quick release mechanism, elegant design and cut through ice cream like butter.

Perfect for my cookie baking needs. I'm terrible with eyeballing portions, so this makes it way easier. Husband was skeptical the part that scrapes the back would actually work (he claims they never do), but I've used this scoop to make 3 different batches of cookies and it hasn't failed me yet. Very easy to clean, though I always hand wash it, so I can't comment if the dishwasher will ruin it, but it still looks brand new for me. It does hurt my hand a little after making so many cookies, but I think that's more of my hands being weak than it being too stiff. Overall, good purchase. If, for whatever reason, I needed a different size, I would definitely choose this brand again.

I have been married for 16 years, and I've been disabled for about the last 8 years. I am just getting to the point where I can begin to cook and bake again. So, I'm having a ton of fun throwing out the old and bringing in the new. I really like this scoop. It's the perfect size for a regular cookie. It seems to be designed well and is easy to use. It scoops dough without a fuss or having it stick to the scoop too badly. It's really easy to work with and seems to be designed to last. It was very well priced for the quality of what you get. I hope to get these in several sizes for various candy making needs.
