Can it be used for the hairs on your hands?

The packaging doesn't mention that it can be used on hand hairs, but neither does it say you shouldn't. It says the product is suitable for arms though, so I would have thought it would be fine for the back of the hands. However you would have to be very careful not to get any on your fingernails as it would dissolve them. Also, hand hairs are generally so fine that you could use Veet for Women In-shower Hair Removal Cream quite successfully, which is a more gentle product, but would still need to avoid getting it on your fingernails. Try it on a small area first and stay well below the maximum time stated on the packaging.

Is this ok for the more private body area?

As a guy - yes - just dont let it sit for to long on the good-old family jewels or you will feel the BURN. For a woman? No idea.
