Following high sustainability standards, the sourcing focuses predominantly on grass-fed cattle from Brazil. But our manufacturer has advised us that it cannot be guaranteed that the cattle feed is never supplemented with other food sources, especially in winter months when grass crops fade. Their supply chain is so large that it is impossible to standardise cattle feed across all the farms in all the areas where the animals are bred. There are hundreds of farmers raising thousands of cows; thus our manufacturer cannot 100% guarantee that a particular farmer never fed his cattle some grain-based supplement feed in the winter months. Therefore, we cannot and will not use the popular "grass-fed cattle" claim, as we believe it would be misleading and deceptive. Please be assured that this collagen supplement has been extensively tested in vitro and in vivo clinical studies. The raw material is 100% produced without any additives or preservatives in state-of-the-art plants, which meet the highest international food and quality standards.
