While visiting family in New Zealand, I noticed one of them using a Sistema microwave container, and I was instantly impressed by the simplicity and cleverness of the design. No mess, no spills, just smart functionality that clearly worked. When I got back to the UK, I was delighted to find that Sistema products are readily available on Amazon — so I decided to give them a try for myself. I ordered two of the Sistema Microwave Soup Mugs (656 ml) with the steam-release vented lids, priced at around £5 each — excellent value for something so practical. As usual, they arrived the very next day with Prime, neatly packaged and ready to go. Right out of the box, the quality stood out. The plastic feels thick, sturdy, and built to last, and those signature Sistema locking clips are brilliantly designed — solid, satisfying to snap into place, and far more secure than the flimsy lids you get with cheaper brands. They give you full confidence that nothing’s going to leak or pop open in the microwave. For the first test, I made a quick batch of Maggi instant noodles. I poured in the hot water, flipped open the steam vent, and microwaved it for just 30 seconds. The result was spot-on — the noodles cooked perfectly, evenly heated, and the lid kept all the steam inside where it belonged. Best of all, there wasn’t a single splash or speck inside the microwave afterward. I also really appreciate that Sistema uses BPA-free plastic, which is something I pay close attention to now — especially having become more health-conscious since being in remission from cancer. It’s reassuring to know that the materials are safe, food-grade, and built to withstand regular heating without worry. I purchased this set of 3 soup mugs for primarily doing super noodles, - which these are absolutely PERFECT for, - can also be used for soup, porridge, etc, & their size is good, the Lids clip on securely, & theres an air release switch on the top. These can be used in the microwave, & are easy to clean. VERY good quality, & price was deffo worth it for a set of 3 at such good quality. Would highly recommend.

Mugs arrived within quoted delivery time, very good quality as was expected. However, carton arrived in a sealed Royal Mail bag, clearly something had been dropped onto the carton when in transit and the carton had split open, Royal Mail had put it into one of their bags for onward delivery. The carton was a bit feeble and the tape sealing the carton had been used sparingly, to say the least. Contents not damaged confirming how strong the mugs are. Would buy again !

This soup mug is very useful. I batch cook soup using a soup maker, then store them in the mug to take to work. It holds a decent amount and is very sturdy. No leak what so ever.

Bought for my 87 yr old Dad, he loves the big handle he can grip and doesn't get hot. One pot cook and eat saving on washing up. Saves him having a saucepan on the hob.

We use these to stock the freezer with handy soup portions for quick dinners. They hold a decent portion each, they last a long time and the seal hasn't failed on any of them yet. Also handy for taking to the office.

Good mug storage to carry my soup to work and warm up. Up to now it doesn't leak, I like the steam lid for it. Keeps it warm for ages. A nice weight

I’ve been making a lot of soup over the winter and these are a great way to store it. The mugs can be filled and frozen, then microwaveable. They hold a decent amount of soup too. I love Sistema products. They are always well thought out, functional and good quality

Heb deze beker aangeschaft om soep in te kunnen bewaren en mee te nemen naar mijn werk om het daar op te kunnen warmen. Had al ergens in de recensies gelezen dat deze lekt. Toch de gok genomen, na bezorging direct water in gedaan. Op zijn kop gehouden en inderdaad, ze hadden gelijk. Deze gaat mooi retour. Heb inmiddels een soepbeker bij de Hema gescoord die ook nog eens goedkoper is. Die van de Hema lekt niet ;) Doe er je voordeel mee.

I have used Sistema for years. Great for soup, ice cream or anything you want hot or cold. I have rheumatoid arthritis so the handle helps me keep the cup or bowl from falling. Use over and over. Easy to clean, doesn’t leak. Perfect cup for oatmeal in the morning with strawberries. Won’t break if you drop it. Never loses its shape. The price is worth every penny for the use you will get out of this product. They have come out with new colors and styles. Perfect for the microwave cook in the kitchen. Great travel mug for soup, chilli, tea and coffee!!

Metto cinque stelle per l'imbattibile qualità prezzo. Ho comprato questa tazza per cominciare a mangiare noodels o altri cibi reidratati al lavoro. Per queto utilizzo mi soddisfa pienamente. Risulta abbastanza grande da metterci dentro la porzione di noodles e qualche altro ingrediente, come un ovo sodo, verdure al vapore tagliuzzate, cubetti di tofu o pollo per rendere la porzione meno triste e più equilibrata. Non è enorme ma per un pasto va benone. Non la ho usata in microonde perché tendenzialmente verso l'acqua calda direttamente sul cibo e poi chiudo il coperchio con i gancetti. Pecca importante, il coperchio non è totalmente ermetico, quindi se volete riempirla già da casa, dovete fare attenzione che la tazza non si inclini, o potrebbe fuoriuscire del liquido. A me non cambia niente per l'utilizzo che ne faccio e quindi 5 stelle, io ma non scambiatela per un thermos ermetico, perché non lo è.

Zaraz po odpakowaniu okazało się, że kubek przecieka pod uszczelką.

Son una pasada . Me encantan ,los he comprado 2 veces ya .Calientan los alimentos súper rápido. Son manejables y con el cierre que tienen no se derrama la comida . Los compré porque me llamaban la atención mucho y acerté con la compra. Los recomiendo 100x100.
