Countersunk for larger than average construction screw heads. When installing these I feel like the screw head only grabs 1/16" of the bracket with the typical screws a contractor carries. That said the braces I like are 5x the price, so I will buy them again. :)

Worked great

They work as intended for my kitchen island. They are definitely heavier than they look so I trust that they support my granite slab.You need a router to cut into your 2x4s in order to put these brackets flush with the top of the island. If not, you can find plywood skinny enough to place down to make the entire island flush when you screw the brackets in place.I didn’t realize it would take that much work with the router and the downside is that these brackets didn’t come with screws so I wasn’t sure which kind of screw to use.

I bought these to install my new granite countertops. Installation was a breeze, they are extremely sturdy, and the price can’t be beat for the quality!

This was exactly the right solution for my application. The granite installer was very happy with these brackets.

We were having quartz counters installed and we were told we needed to put metal brackets in before they came to install. We had less than a week and nothing was available at any home improvement store near us. These were half the price, shipped fast, and worked great! I love that you can’t see them at all unless you look under the counter. There were 5 in the pack so we used all 5 even though we only needed 3 which makes me more confident the heavy counter is very secure.

This product was great. We used these for a 14 inch overhang.
