I bought this kit to replace non-functioning electronics on my Epiphone Dot Studio. This kit uses a B500k pot for volume, A500k for tone, and a 0.047µF capacitor. The wiring is stranded wire covered in PVC jackets.I ran into a few issues:1) The ground connection to the 3 way switch was broken and required me to re-solder it.2) The connection between the volume and the tone pots was broken and required me to resolder it.3) The capacitor was soldered to the wrong leg of the tone pot, so I moved it to the correct leg.Generally speaking, the pots feel good to turn, but the switch isn't great. It works, but it is rather chunky.Other than that, it is likely that these would be a better experience if both pots were A500k pots instead of the only the tone pot being one. While it is not uncommon, using a B500k pot as a volume pot on electric guitars is often not a great experience.All in all, this kit saves you some time and effort if you want to bring back a dead guitar like I was doing, or just for generally making your install easier (especially in my case, as it is really difficult to find a wiring harness for a Epiphone Dot Studio). It is functional, but likely will require a bit of work for that functionality.
