I got these and I was very excited to use them. The tongs are flimsy and ineffective. I ended up having to just do it the way I normally do. It does not peel the garlic well at all and when it does peel, it leaves much of the shell on the garlic. It actually made it more difficult to pull the shell off because it left thin layers of the shell on the garlic pieces. I don't know what the other positive reviewers have experience, but I certainly would never buy these again. I am returning them.

I can't even thought this tiny tools will be so useful..it says only for garlic skin peeler but I use for onions too..my nails r happy 😊 no breaking like use to be ..thanks who invented it

NentMent 4 Pack Garlic Peeler Skin Remover It does work but I'm not as fast as the woman in the seller's product video. I need more practice. This is like tweezers with claws at the end. The claws have sharp ends so they grab the garlic skin. I like lots of garlic. Usually when I only need a few cloves, I just slice of the ends then crush the cloves so the skin separates easily. Crushing the gloves also make it easier if I want to chop/mince the garlic. When I want to peel 5 or more whole heads of garlic, I usually put them in a plastic or metal container (with a lid) and shake the h*ll out of them -- presto! Skin off garlic but it's a pain to separate the skin from all the garlic cloves. With more practice, I hope to be as fast as that lady in the video in peeling the skin off several heads of garlic.
