Food storage

I really like this set because it comes with multiple sizes to choose from. It feels thick and doesn't rip easily. My husband used it to mail out small trinkets and it held up nicely. I can't speak on it's ability to keep something fresh because it's only been used for non-food items. I would definitely buy this again when we run out because it's so useful to store so many different type of things. I'm planning to share this with my mom who likes to collect seeds etc. It's well worth the price.

This is a purchase you want to make! If you like to buy in bulk and be able to keep food fresh for longer definitely buy these.

These are great bags. Love the labels and how well they seal.

I tested these mylar bags with my Vacmaster chamber sealer and with a generic impulse sealer. They worked very well in both applications with one little caveat. The bags have only a small area above the zipper, so the chamber sealer required a precise setup to not seal over the zipper. I did have to set the sealing time slightly higher than for ordinary clear 3mil bags.These are very strong bags, should be no problem with tears or holes in almost any application. They are opaque so they're good for storing foods that might degrade in light. The zippers are strong and work well. Includes plenty of oxygen absorbers for dry foods and spices. I would have liked it better if those were packed in smaller bags, like 10 each, rather than all in one bag.A very good product with multiple uses: freezer, dry storage, even small valuables.

The product works fine, but it is not 11ml thick as advertised. Very thin and O2 absorbers are very small, maybe 100cc or less. It will work but not as advertised. Probably will not purchase again.
