What size of trap fits? I have tried a 11/2" compression fitting but the collar is far too big

Hi. I certainly used a standard 40mm waste trap when I fitted this item into a customer’s kitchen. Just to check, you need to fit a trap to this such as a bottle trap or P or S trap. As a plumber I recommend buying McAlpine fittings, they’re worth the extra cost for reliability.

What size flexible hose should I buy to screw onto the 1.5" threaded outlet of this Waste kit?

The flexible hose length will depend on the distance to your outlet pipe. I bought mine from screw fix and connected to the McAlpine double sink kit bought on Amazon.
