Rolife DIY Miniature Dollhouse Kit Diorama Room Model with LED Gifts for Boys Girls Women Friends(SOHO Time)

This was pretty straight forward, but that is after I have put a few together. I didn't have instructions in English, so had to go by the diagram pictures. The wire on the desk, for the legs, is tricky. Wire doesn't want to stay glued. When I went to pick it up I must have applied too much pressure because it just popped apart. I added more glue and it was fine. Definitely not a good choice if you don't have patience. There is a lot of wait time with this kit, making the different elements.

Patience is key to this project! This is my first mini kit build. I'm fairly crafty so I was confident that I could get it done. It does require patience since you have to glue certain pieces together first, wait for it to set, then glue the rest to complete. People are finding more time on their hands as of late, and if you're one who enjoys arts and crafts and making something when there was once just a pile of wood, paper and wires, then you will wholly enjoy this kit : )

Easy to assemble, Cute

Loved this kit! It was my first and it did not disappoint. Instructions are very clear. I personally used hot glue for the sake of time instead of the included glue, but either works. The most challenging part was the wire work for furniture, other than that even the electrical component was fairly straight to the point! I also loved that this was easily customizable - with just a few adjustments, like different craft paper or fabric, you can really make this your own!

Right out of the box this kit was much better quality than other kits I have purchased for a higher price. It's also ready to go - glue and other tools included. Great package deal and great fun.

The 2nd miniature room project! I wouldn't say Soho time was easier than the kitchen, since creating desk, chair and sofa out of wire and glue was never easy. Also, it involves glueing grainy paper to the wooden pieces, unlike the kitchen. Therefore, unlike the first impression, I'd suggest go for kitchen first before this if you are new to the miniature building as me. As of now, I am working on the coffeeshop from rolife, and as it appeared, it is harder and bigger work than the kitchen or Soho time.I guess I found a new hobby during this corona virus quarantine.. Only downside is you only get better as you do this, and takes less time to finish one project. I am running out of money and space for this hobby.. but I really like it!

Turned out cute, but didn’t realize painting was involved. Also couldn’t figure out how to get the light to work… didn’t come with the tape. Instructions weren’t great and paper materials came on regular printing paper, not the thick glossy material like you’ll find in other kits. Glue comes with kit, but recommend using a real craft glue like Beacon. Also wish it would have come with a glass cover, but I knew that up front when purchasing. All in all, my least favorite miniature I’ve done, but I think I still made it cute.

I'm definitely not the best at putting these together, but I had a lot of fun doing it. Very time consuming work, but I enjoyed the finished product (until my cat took a bite out of the ceiling). The kit really did include everything to put it together and I thought the decorations were adorable. I've purchased two more kits to do this summer while the kids are on break.
