Easy and fast
Use this to make physical copies of my backup drives and it works perfectly. Easily justifiable price.

Works great for a RAID array on a Mac Mini!
I got this to solve an issue I had with a RAID array. I had 3 old Barracuda 2 tb disks that I had set up as a 6 tb RAID to use for backups. Problem was that the arrangement was using 3 USB ports on my Mac Mini. I popped the 3 disks into the dock and the RAID worked perfectly and uses just 1 USB port. No issues at all, worked straight out of the box. I have another 3 tb disk in the 4th slot for additional storage.

Pretty good, but one big caveat if you're considering it for unattended/NAS use
I use a couple of these with a mini PC as a decent value NAS for backups/media. Speeds are fine, however one big disadvantage is that after a power cut, the docks won't come back and the attached PC won't be able to see the drives until you physically power the docks on using the button on the top. That's a great shame- if they auto-powered on, or at least returned to the last power state, they'd be perfect. Noticed a few users complaining that the drives power off. That's a Windows issue, not a dock issue- make sure you disable USB power saving in Power Management.

Better than a NAS!
This is definitely one of my better purchases. I originally had a 4-disk NAS which was glitchy and an ongoing nightmare to work with. Transferring files from it to the PC was such a drag because it took forever. So I purchased this 4-bay Hard Drive Docking Station as a replacement for the NAS, and used the 4 HD's from the NAS in it. I have never looked back! Installing it was really easy - just plug and play. I now have 16TB (4x 4TB) of storage with instant, trouble-free access. The USB 3.0 means lightning-quick file transfers between the HD's and the PC. I just usually drag/drop everything via windows explorer. Saving files to this docking station seems just as fast as saving them to any internal drives. I have zero regrets buying it and recommend it to anyone who wants more storage (Just make sure you have an available USB 3.0 port.)

if it does not find you hard drives please look in computer management as i had to change drive letter and i had used that one internally

Doesn't do what it says on the tin.
Sadly this device will only register 4 TB of storage space. I have 3 x 2 TB drives, and I plug the device into a Windows 11 PC. Individually the drives are all recognised by the bay and all the slots are working. However, no matter what combination of drives or slots I use, I can only get the device to see 2 drives at a time, giving me only 4 TB. Have contacted ORICO for assistance but nothing heard back from them yet. I'll keep the bay as it is still handy to see more storage attached to the PC when I'm moving my movie files around between drives, instead of having to keep swapping them in my one bay device. It does 'a' job but not the one it says it does.

Used this for 3 years without any problem
I have visited this product to post a review after 3 years of use. I was surprised by some negative products. This device was used with 2 hdd for 1 year and 1hdd for 2 years constantly, day by day. I would highly recommend this solution, used it with a mini PC for photo and video storage.
