My favorite thing about this charger is the simple way it is designed. I was able to use my existing 240V outlet and skip the extra expense of an electrician because it uses a NEMA 14-50 plug that is the same as my dryer. I was skeptical that it didn't offer an app like other units I had checked out, but the simplicity of just swiping a RFID card to set the unit to my car is nice. Honestly, I have more than enough things in my life that have apps, I like that this unit has kept it simple.This is a great charging station for the money. It comes with a 20-ft flexible cable that is sturdy and easy to maneuver. The SAE J1772 connector is the standard charging plug for electric vehicles in the United States and comes with an adapter for Tesla's making this a truly universal station.One of the best EV chargers I have found. The Intelligent Fast Charging balances the load, adjusting the current from 16 to 48 amps, making recharging my vehicle much faster than I expected. I feel very confident with leaving this overnight since it includes protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, high temperatures, short circuits, lightning, under voltage, overloads, grounding issues, leaks, and other emergencies.Between the low cost of the unit, no need for an electrician to set it up and no apps to glitch, this charger has the least amount of headaches and super fast performance.
