I did not know there could be a significant difference, but there is in the quality of isopods. We needed a set to put into our bioactive snail habitat, and these were not only a super healthy size, but they were also super active in the container and once released into the tank. They took a few seconds to unroll then they were busily exploring, a few found the carrot and started eating. It was fun to watch, and that was not the case when we had ordered from other vendors over the years for other habitats. This bunch came with a rolly polly pocket case that was so cute as well. If we ever decide to get more isopods, we will definitely choose this vendor.

I am blown away! I received my package, and not only did I get my pollies all happy and healthy, I found out this was all done by a young child with an amazing idea! I am beyond impressed and as a kid would have loved to have the pocket pet habitat growing up! It was a free gift for my pollie purchase and now I am going to buy one for each of my kids, Sunday school kids and grandchildren!!! So glad I found this business!!! We have a small farm and we do everything as biblically correct as possible! Bringing the pollies into the garden and compost was something our farm was super excited about and we are looking forward to continuing business with pocket pets!

PKG arrived 2 days after ordering. I ordered 30 orange and 20 blues. Both came in cups and were bagged...no chance of having a spill in the box. Tons of insulation (I believe would hold up fine in below freezing temps). The soil in the cups still had good moisture and the iso's all were active and looked to be a healthy colony.

All of my Rollie Pollys were alive and well! They were packaged extremely carefully, and the little "Pocket Bug" idea is adorable and genius. I might even carry one around with me lol It arrived quickly and the price was great. I love it.

Now I’m not going to lie, counting 20 roly polies while theyre skittering around a plastic cup is a bit difficult. However, I’m pretty sure I only received 10. I also didn’t find any casualties among the ones I had, so the packaging worked well to get them to me safely! Overall, I’m pretty happy because I only needed them to accompany my pet millipede, but if you need exactly 20 roly polies for whatever reason, maybe go for a local pet store.

Happy to report both colonies are thriving and showing they're strength and how valuable isopods are to Earth and science! My son purchased 40 total and separated them into 2 colonies. One set lives in Mars simulated soil and the other set lives in Earth simulation for his science fair and 4H project. Both colonies are fed identically and have green bean plants growing in them and are compared to matching containers without pillbugs also growing greenbean plants. Both of the containers with pillbug colonies have plants that are growing significantly better than the containers without. Isopods don't just make good pocket pets they could potentially be the first crustaceans to live on Mars! Following feed and care advice from company they are easy to maintain and keep alive! They really do love carrots!

The Rollie pollies are sooooo cute. They came in a box perfectly wrapped. I even made an exhibit for them. I’m so excited for my daughter’s Rollie pollute growing journey. She loves them ☺️☺️☺️. The instructions were very useful ,I put water in the soil as soon as I returned home. And the little container to bring the Rollie pollies around was such a cute add on. My daughter can’t stop carrying them everywhere 🥰🥰

My daughter was so excited to get her Roly Polys ! They were packaged excellent and arrived quickly ! They are doing great I won’t hesitate too order more ! I played with them as a child be we were unable to find them anywhere outside !
