I'm a 20 year old with severe ADHD and I love these. Originally this was a habitat for 1 adult pill bug named polly. When it was just poly, I never saw him out and about so I thought he needed more friends and as soon as all the 20 young pill bugs got put in and situated I saw poly come out after not seeing him for a long long time. I'm so happy with my now 21 pill bugs♡

PKG arrived 2 days after ordering. I ordered 30 orange and 20 blues. Both came in cups and were bagged...no chance of having a spill in the box. Tons of insulation (I believe would hold up fine in below freezing temps). The soil in the cups still had good moisture and the iso's all were active and looked to be a healthy colony.

I did not know there could be a significant difference, but there is in the quality of isopods. We needed a set to put into our bioactive snail habitat, and these were not only a super healthy size, but they were also super active in the container and once released into the tank. They took a few seconds to unroll then they were busily exploring, a few found the carrot and started eating. It was fun to watch, and that was not the case when we had ordered from other vendors over the years for other habitats. This bunch came with a rolly polly pocket case that was so cute as well. If we ever decide to get more isopods, we will definitely choose this vendor.

My 4yo wanted to collect isopods from daycare to bring home. I told her that their home was there, but we would buy some. So, we did. We put together a terrarium. She was so thrilled to put them in! The isopods are now just chilling in their new home, eating carrots, hanging out in their chia forest. My daughter scoops them out to play with and to be amazed by the mysteries of creation as I have been all my life.She gets to enjoy watching them grow. The isopods have started to realize being handled isn't all bad and don't necessarily ball up. We get to have discussions about life, life cycles, killing things that bother us, and to leave things alone. Time and place. Because of this, we've had talks about where we get our meat and such. This is just another step in the development of respect for life - my life, her life, all life.In this math, it's so simple. Stick an extra zero to the cost, and it would still be a bargain.Thank you.

I got these little guys to be a clean up crew for my crested gecko Hopper’s enclosure and my pac man frog Hersheys space too, they all came alive and in great containment. You can tell this small business really cares about their critters and I love them for that! Better than any isopods I’ve gotten at bigger business by a long stretch, the owner also included a critter habitat which was a sweet and thoughtful add on! You won’t find this kind of quality and thoughtfulness for isopods/rolly pollies anywhere. I love watching them wander about helping my enclosures.

Received two dozen rollies for a new terrarium clean-up crew. They showed up packed expertly and were in perfect health. They woke up quick and got to work! I'll definitely order more!
