I love the colors. They are gorgeous. I washed them in hot water with no color loss. The squares did shrink a bit after washing and ironing dry.They are medium weight. The lightest colors show a little bit of transparency when layered over a patterned fabric, but I expect that for cotton, and it's not bad. I've seen far worse. While all medium weight, they are not all the same fabric. Some are slightly heavier with a tiny twill weave on one side (unnoticeable unless you are looking for it), while others are a little bit lighter with what appears to be a standard weave. The twill ones actually feel a bit like a polyester blend, but it might just be the weave. I haven't had cotton with a twill weave before. They all held up well under a hot iron.They suit my needs for various craft and applique fabrics.For the price and color choice I would give them 5 stars. Color fastness: 5 stars. Fabric weight: 5 stars. Inconsistency between fabrics: 4 stars

The cost was phenomenally low and so the great quality was a wonderful surprise.I am making prayer flags with the material. (Bright and Cheerful)

I loved the texture of the fabric squares. The size of the squares were just perfect. I purchased these fabric squares for making masks, it was great. The colors were very nice.

I have T-shirts that develop little holes you kow the ones. I was looking to fix it but all the cloth is white doesn't work so well on my black shirts. I saw these and thought, 'why not?' When it arrived I had several shirts waiting to be fixed. This batch had the perfect colors choices and they are big enough to fix several shirts, which I did. The clor match is great and I am thrilled with the product!!

I am amazed that I started a large quilt for 5.99 and I didn’t have spent time and energy cutting perfect squares. This is a great value and good quality.
