Tovolo Mini Ice Squeeze & Release Cylinder, 2-Pack, Mini-Ice Cube Makers

My family and I enjoy this product. It is easy to use and fits perfectly in our freezer without taking up too much space. The ice it makes is about 2cm cubed, and serves about 3 8oz glasses halfway. The silicone does not add any flavor and it is easy to clean and re-fill. We like to use warm water to get clearer ice and this product works perfectly. Not to mention squishing the ice cubes out of the cylinder is a fun little activity if you have children, or just enjoy a bit of ice asmr.

These are the best ice makers I have bought. They freeze quick, and store great in the freezer when making large batches. I highly recommend for summer especially. When not in use, they take up a small space because they are easy to stack. For the 2 months I have been using them, the silicone is durable and no issues.

These are amazing! I'd like to see the negative reviewers remove ice from the old metal ice trays with the lever. Hahaha these are a piece of cake compared to old ice cube trays! Will definitely purchase more! I love the size of the little cubes! They seal so your ice doesn't taste or smell bad. Stackable I have no clue why? You fill to the line and then slowly insert middle. Filling is easy. If you over fill the 2 holes in the top let the water out. Don't overfill does nothing but make it take longer for ice and harder to remove. I love the shape and size. Lid? Durable I would say so I filled and froze night before trip to the beach 2.5 hours in a cooler with other types of ice and food and it stayed frozen. Removal.... I see alot of complaints about this part of the process. If you read the directions and got ice so far then keep following them. I rinse the entire thing. Fill middle while rinsing the second one. Then try and remove inner part. If it doesn't come out I fill it again while trying the 2nd one. If it takes a few more seconds rinsing with warm water they do come out. Forcing it out like one video shows is just showing you don't read instructions and follow them. Its not rocket science its just nature. If it doesn't come out easily rinse for 10-30 seconds longer. I let the warm water sit in the middle for a few more seconds. They do come out and these are great for travel. I'm buying 2 more for when I travel with more than a couple friends. Even with the less than stellar reviews I've always loved this brand so I gave them a try and I love them!

Easy to fill and easy to use! They are small like a cup and easily fit in my freezer. The lid is sturdy and helps keep the shape. Perfect ice pebbles every time

Great little ice cube makers! I have used them everyday since they were delivered. put them in my iced coffee in the morning then fill up again. Use the other one for drinks or water later on. Love the size! So easy to use. They freeze pretty fast. Getting the little cubes out is easy too. But these!!

Are they a cute idea, yes. Do they make cute little cubes, again yes. So three stars for that. But they say dishwasher safe and they do not rinse clean in the dishwasher, and for that they lose two stars. I took a sip of my water and ate a cube, and strongly tasted dish detergent. Looked at the inside of my glass and there was a huge amount of film residue. I’m so disgusted. I’m sure if you’re willing to hand wash them and rinse extremely well each time they’ll be fine. I am not so I am returning them. Ick.

Awesome! These mini ice cube makers are amazing quality, easy to use, and the tiny little ice cubes last for hours in my iced coffee! I usually still have ice cubes in my cup after the coffee is gone. Just fill the silicone molds to the line with water, I use filtered tap water, then very slowly insert the plastic cup/lid, take your time so the little compartments have time to fully fill, and then just put the whole thing in the freezer for a few hours. If you add too much water it will come out of the two little holes in the lid. Once frozen, just run the whole thing under warm water for about 30 seconds, twist the insert and remove it, then just squish the silicone cup until all the little ice cubes are loose. The silicone is very thick and squishing it is actually quite fun. You can use the little ice cubes right away or store them in a container in the fridge. Fresh ice cubes, if put in the freezer in a container, will slightly stick back together once, just shake the container, they will stay loose after that.

This is an amazing product and works as advertised. I am buying another set to replace my small ice-cube (1cm) trays. This makes small ice cubes, which are perfect if you are an ice-eater (like me), and enough for 1 drink if you like a lot of ice in it (like me). For regular folks, one of these makes enough ice for 2 drinks. You can de-ice it right into itself or a glass so there isn’t need for another container, and refill is quick and easy so you can do it right away. These do fit into my freezer door so they are easy to grab and don’t take up room inside. Tips: 1. When re-filling it, put it on a flat surface and press the top down until all the extra water is removed from the two holes on the top. (Watch out for the fountain!) This will also create suction keeping the water inside in place. 2. When de-icing, fill the center with hot water to detach it from the ice. This makes it easy to slide it out. 3. You do need to run it under hot water or let it sit to de-ice easily. 4. You do need to make sure the bottom is flat when freezing and the lid is secure in place. Otherwise it will sag and make flat ice at the bottom.

When I first bought these two ice makers — the type where you fill the sides with water and put the lid on top — I was a little sceptical about how well they’d perform. But after using them for about two weeks, I can honestly say I love them. They do exactly what they’re meant to do. You do need to give them a bit of a tap or twist to release the ice, and removing the plastic centre helps, but once the ice comes out it’s crunchy, solid, and in neat little square pieces. The ice lasts all day when used in an insulated cup. I use one tray at a time and keep the other as a backup, though I rarely even need it. My iced coffee stays cold and refreshing for hours.

Really good solid icecube mould. Easy to use and really nice compared to the usual large cubes. Very satisfying to squeeze out the ice cubes out of silicone mould.

Excelente producto, muy rápido de llenar. Eso si para despegar los hielos sugiero ponerle agua en el centro para que se despegue la tapa. Podría sugerir que los cuadros puedan ser un poco más grandes. Pero es un gran producto.
