Great carpet cleaner! Awesome for cleaning up after pets who find every way to destroy your carpet. Easy to use, easy to setup and clean afterwards. Accessories include hose and hand held carpet cleaner attachment along with a plastic tool to help remove hair and other debris that may get caught inside the vacuum head The vacuum head is very serviceable because of the buttons that let you lift the outer cover and access it and remove for cleaning It gets deep into the carpet, half the time I find it’s pulling out dog hair from the carpet that I didn’t even know was there. Taking care of 3 dachshunds and 2 older labs the only real service I’ve had to do is replacing a retention belt and it was just a 5 minute job

It works well. It drinks a lot but I believe that's why it cleans so well. You will be surprised at the amount of filth hiding in your carpet!! I noted that as the tank empties and the device becomes lighter the suction is not as good. I happened to have a 7lbs dumbell and I placed it on the device and the suction was amazing again!! The device is well thought out as you will notice when you start going at it. It's very easy to clean and the roller section can very easily be taken apart for cleaning. I have an induction cook top and I heat the water to exactly 140F, this also makes it work much better. Hot water out of the faucet is not warm enough. The carpet texture looks closer to the less used areas probably thanks to its double brush. I feel that based on convenience, cost, cleaning level and ease of use it's much better than renting a carpet cleaner. My last Bissell carpet cleaner lasted for several years. Maybe next time I'll upgrade but so far I think this model covered all my needs at a reasonable cost.

I've only just used it for the very 1st time today and I have couple if notes and comparisons to my older carpet cleaner. The Bissell has superior vacuuming power by far. The scrub brushes pick up more cat hair then I could hope for. (I have two cats. One long hair and another short hair.) My older machine broke down while I was cleaning the bedroom carpet and I finished the last 50 sq ft using the Bissell. Even after vacuuming first and then send my robot vacuum in on a 2x job, the Bissell still managed to pull an ENORMOUS amount of cat hair out of this small section of the carpet. It was very impressive. Small things like the little hook at the underside top of the handle was great at keep the cord out of the way. The removable port on the bottom of the dirty water tank is another bonus for cleaning. Disassembly and cleaning was easy and the included tool made getting cat hair out of the hard to reach areas a breeze. Now for some suggestions. Filling the water tank and adding cleaning solution is difficult to judge with the markings on the tank. First off, the tank sits at a slight angle on a flat surface. Is the correct levels when the tank is at an angle or when it is flat? Premeasuring seems to be the solution to that. Also, I suppose you have to guess how much solution you'll need for a given job and the extra gets dumped. My old unit had a separate, removable chemical tank and a separate clean water tank. This means you only use the chemicals you need. It also allowed you to remove the chemical tank and do a clean water "rinse" pass. It was very convenient. The additional spot jet seems a little too much as I already pretreat areas that need special attention. I'll reread the instructions to be sure but it doesn't seem that you can remove the brushes for cleaning. I washed them in place and used a brush and fingers to remove hair that wrapped around them. I'll post a follow-up and will probably improve to a 5 star rating.

The vacuum quality is superb! I have a gray and white area rug that hasn’t been cleaned in about three years, and this machine pulled out most of the dirt, old urine stains from my sweet dog, and other spots I didn’t think would come out. This was my first deep clean, so I’ll probably do a second pass for an even better result. I used the Max Clean + Protect solution that came with it, since my rug really needed the extra boost. The vacuum was easy to use, though a bit heavy when filled with water. My rug is still slightly damp, so I’m waiting to see how long it takes to fully dry. Overall, very impressed so far!
