Do you have kosher certification for your kimchi?

No, not at this time. We are a small company trying to change the world 1 Billion microbes at a time, and unfortunately there are so many certifications that make it very expensive for smaller companies to afford and grow. Though we support and probably follow the same or stricter guidelines we are not certified anything at this time. It's very much of interest to us, hopefully in the near future. What is the meaning of umami mix? what are the sea vegetables used? And is it totally vegetarian?

Umami mix is a proprietary blend of sea plants and kelps and mushrooms. If there is an ocean plant you are concerned about please reach out to us directly. This product is VEGAN, so yes "totally vegetarian."

The jars are sealed in protective plastic bags in case of leaks. Boxed with protective padding.
