My husband is the harshest critic and thought this was incredibly well made! I bought this as part of his 40th birthday gift as he is a die hard LOTR fan and I’ve never seen his face light up the way it did when he opened up this gift. Like a kid at Christmas!

For anyone who cares, the tang is a threaded rat tail. Blade is surprisingly high quality for the price. The handle seriously sucks. The guard is pretty good, and the pommel is decent. Its the handle that sucks. Balance is good, weight is good, its really bright blue, so thats a thing. Its covered in the good stuff when it arrives. Oiled up so as to protect the steel in transit. When you pit it in the scabbard tho, it does get kinda wiped off by the scabbard. The edges are not sharp, but the blade itself has a good angle for if you wish to put an edge on it yourself. If youre wanting to hit anything with it, Id recommend reinforcing the tang. Doesnt feel super sturdy. Mine came kinda bent at an angle, but a bit of pressure was able to fix that, which isnt a good sign for the integrity of the metal. Irs made to look pretty and hang on your wall. Rating it 4 stars cause for the price, its surprisingly high quality.

Fine for the renfaire or comiccon. Many obvious flaws and you're not hitting anything with it, but for the price it looks great hanging on your belt.

The sword itself is decent but the scabbard has issues. It has foam inside that is flimsy. There is an emblem pressed on the scabbard that is too deep so it cuts through leather and is torn. The hardware for plaque missing? I think it was a return from someone else.
