Plaka Flat Gladiator Sandals for Women Sahara

I bought these SAPPHIRE blue Plakas even though I had 2 concerns:1- I was really hoping they'd match a NAVY blue outfit in my closet, &2- I was concerned about the STRAPS, because in my experience, tucking the lacing on the side, as shown in the pictures, only lasts for a couple steps before it all starts unraveling...I received these sandals today, & I'm happy to say that I was so pleased to find out that the SAPPHIRE blue is actually a "summertime" NAVY blue (meaning they match my navy items well, although they do look maybe a shade lighter than "classic" NAVY blue)And regarding the STRAPS, I just choose to tie a little bow in the back... & they look great while staying put! (See my pic!)This is my 2nd pair of Plakas sandals, & I can definitely see myself buying more in the future, as both pairs are comfortable, well-made & cute for casual summer days (or nights!)Thank you, Plaka people! :)-Mandilyn

I like these sandals but feel they're slightly misrepresented. The "gladiator" style is shown as being able to wrap around the ankle 2-3 times, and the straps on the ones I got are only long enough to wrap once. On Amazon and the Plaka website, this style is shown wrapped multiple times. I don't have huge ankles and even with a lot of adjustment, the straps are just not long enough to do that.Beyond the straps being shorter than represented in photos, these sandals are pretty comfortable (they will need a breaking-in period). The material of the straps didn't give me blisters and they're very adjustable since they're basically string. I love the "sangria" color, and will probably buy another pair in the turquoise.

Love these sandals! So comfortable and very stylish. I usually wear 8.5 so I got it in 9 and it fits perfectly:) getting a tone of compliments on this pair! They look great with a dress or jeans

Very Cute shoes!!!! we love them..Got for 8th grade graduation..and she Loves them....Wear size 9 :ordered 9 and fit perfect...although she's got a narrow foot so I can't speak for someone with a wide foot

OMG so comfortable, I previously purchased your sandles with the loop around big toe. I thought those were comfortable but these take comfort & cuteness to a whole new level. I like that the foot bed is cloth. LOVE love love

I bought these not expecting much. Because the price is so low, I assumed they wouldn't be very high quality, but they were actually better than I expected, with just one issue:Only these strings are holding your foot to the base of this sandal, so if you want a snug fit, you have to tie these strings tightly around your ankle, which almost cuts off your circulation. But if you don't do that, and you tie loosely, your foot moves around a lot and you have less stability. I tied them very tight, and my feet still moved around, so I just gave up and tied them loosely.But, overall, they are ok, they are comfortable and will look good with your casual summer outfits. I've worn them only once, so I don't know yet how they will hold up in the future.

These seems fine for flat no cushion sandals, though I have yet to walk in them for any length of time. I have really narrow feet (NN) and they fit me well which was one of reasons I ordered this style. I am disappointed in 2 things 1) they are not adjustable as I imagined--I thought they would be like the 80s jelly sandals --totally adjustable and they are NOT. You can only adjust the tie at the ankle and pull a little right under the in step. So I am grateful they run a bit small. 2) I got the orange and its not really orange but a dull rust colored--I really wanted it brighter. Having said that, it seems as comfortable as flat Aerosoles I have had for a few years and for the price point, I am waiting to wear them for longer period to see how they hold up. I would say they are worth trying for price point of your feet are not wide.

These shoes are super cute and comfortable as long as you don't tie them too tight. What I love about them is that they can adjust to wide or narrow feet. All you have to do is pull on the straps until they fit your foot shape. I got the ones in taupe which I'm super happy with. I am usually a strict size 5 so that's what I ordered and they fit me perfectly. Just be aware that when you first get them and take them out of the packaging that there is a really fierce rubbery smell, but just leave them somewhere to air out for while and the smell will go away. I like that the shoes come with a little carrying bag. I will definitely use them when I travel. These shoes look so cute with casual summer/spring dresses. I am definitely happy with my purchase.
