Let me preface this by stating i am a nurse. I've been having perimenopause symptoms for a while and decided to try this test just to see. It is easy to use, and did confirm what I had suspected. I would suggest making sure to test at the correct time. This test states to test in the morning, which is correct, but you can't just test on any random day. Best day to test would be day 2 or 3 of your period. Elevated levels at that time (when they are supposed to be the lowest) would indicate less ovarian reserve. I know it's hard to wait when youre wanting an answer, but it is important to test properly. Since 5 tests are included it doesn't hurt to test several mornings in a row. I hope this review helps at least 1 person get the answer they need.

I started experiencing perimenopause symptoms 2 years ago and when I went to a doctor she told me there was no blood test (or any test) to take that would confirm that I had entered this new stage in life. I finally decided to check Amazon and am thankful I found this test. It is much more affordable than the other brands and it is easy to take (don't be scared off by the long two page (Front and back) instructions). You basically: 1) collect pee 2) dip test stick BELOW the max line for 10-15 seconds 3) wait 3 minutes 4) check for two lines (TEST and CONTROL) and if they are the same in color or lighter in color than the top TEST line It's very similar to a covid test except the two lines have to be the same in color for it to be positive. My test has both lines the same in color intensity so I tested positive.

These came in in less than two days and were a great deal! Only $6 for five test strips… I was impatient so I took one as soon as I got them out of my mailbox.. I’m going to be 47 in 6 weeks and I have always had perfectly timed periods… Literally to the days 28 days apart.. They’ve always been very regular… I have noticed that they have been lighter and shorter over the last 6-12 months… I am now just shy of two weeks late which is very unusual for me.. I got to thinking that maybe I’m peri-menopausal and started doing research.. I don’t have the hot flashes or night sweats yet but I do have some sleep, anxiety, dry skin issues… As soon as I took the test it came back positive…. I’m honestly relieved… I’m so ready to get this over with haha!! For the price I’d say these were for sure worth it!

I purchased two test sets because I wanted to have a confirmation test to back-up whatever results I received from the first test. Each test set comes with 3 strips. I used the entire first test kit because all 3 strips were invalid. If only one line appears, the test directions itself instructs that this is an invalid result. So I’m guessing the kit contained bad strips. I decided to try one of the strips from the second kit to confirm and that strip was also invalid. This was a complete waste of money. The other reviewers seem to say the test works as intended, so I’m guessing I somehow got a batch of bad strips. Will not buy again since I can’t be guaranteed a working test kit.

I like how simple this is to use and how quickly you see the results. I've ordered them twice, and they arrive quickly from England to the US. The only problem I have with the tests is that there isn't an indication of what the pale test line means, aside from negative; is it elevated FSH over a certain number, but not quite 25? I have not had a single one come back with no test line (all are either a little paler or positive), and as a 42 y/o female with peri symptoms, it makes me curious what the level may be. But this is much more simple and easy than waking up early to go to the lab to have blood work done. Great product.
