If you are a tea drinker, you know that hotel hot pots and Kuerig type water dispensers never lose that faint taste of coffee, no matter how well they are cleaned. So I prefer to carry my own supply of tea and hot water.My ancient electric travel kettle gave its last cup of hot water the other day and I began researching for a replacement. I quickly found out there are many wonderful options out there for a small travel kettle. After review of my particular needs, I decided on a collapsible silicone kettle because it can be used for home, office or travel.The low profile, low weight of collapsible silicone makes this kettle easy to pack when traveling. I selected this model because of it had the safety features I wanted (ex. auto shutoff) and it came with bonus collapsible silicone cups (2) and a bowl (all have lids) and the price was reasonable.So far I'm impressed. The kettle heats quickly and the safety features work. Because the kettle had a faint chemical smell, I washed well before use, and then boiled a full kettle of water, discarded and refilled with a mixture of water and about a 1/4 cup of orange juice that I boiled and let sit to cool. Discarded, rinsed and all subsequent pots of water taste fine and no more mild chemical smell. It has clear indicator lights when it is powered and heats quickly and shuts off when done.The silicone bowl is larger than expected (my expectations low because price so low) and is perfect for bowl of soup or large salad. The cups were better than previous silicone cups I've used because of a sturdy rim collar and lid.I have only used the kettle for a few days and so far it has impressed, however even if it dies an earlier death than I hope, I will still feel it was a great deal because of the bonus items. All in all this is a nice package of travel friendly items for the money!

I love that this tea kettle is collapsible and takes up very little space. I also like that it comes with a bowl and two collapsible cups. I am able to heat water in an instant without using my stove. Fast heating time, great for soups, teas, or oatmeal!

I love my kettle and bowl! I will say that the silicone hangs onto things like spices and food color very easily though so bring a bit of dish soap to wash it (because just water won’t cut it). Fantastic product! It heats up fast and is very portable.

I purchased this so I could have hot water while camping. The outlet in 2021 Tacoma is 400W so I was stoked to find out it really works and works well! I dropped a star because the colors of cup and pot don’t match but for utilitarian purposes this is easily 5/5 stars.

I got this for my boyfriend to make hot coffee at his desk at work and he loves it. It folds down and is easy to heat up and use. The included cup is kind of small, so he just uses a mug he keeps there instead. It might come in handy for other uses though like water or sauces with a lunch. The included circular collapsible Tupperware is an added bonus and works well.👍🏻☕🔥

I like the fact that its foldable and easy to bring for camping and travelling. The max amount of water boiled at exactly 9mins. I used a cold tap water to boil. And dont forget to manually turn it off once the water boiled.

Used this for a longer hotel stay. They had a coffee maker but no kettle, so this was great for making oatmeal and tea. The cups were tiny, so I used them for water/juice or brushing my teeth. The bowl is a great size, though.The kettle heats up a tad slowly, and the light doesn't turn off when the water is boiled, so make sure to unplug it after use.Overall, it's a great travel kettle!

Easy to transport & use. Hotel our group was booked into for 2 weeks in the Canary Islands did not have in-room coffee makers. I brought a converter & plug adaptor. Why in the request for a review they asked “flavour” I don’t understand but in any event the silicone kettle, bowl & mugs did not alter the taste of what I cooked. Besides drinks I made ramen noodles & added dried veggies from the Bulk Barn & it was good. Snap on lid sealed in boiled water. Easy to clean. Auto shut-off on kettle a bonus.

After boiling the water, I noticed there was a white coagulating film on top of the water. It looks like it could be residue from the silicone, so I no longer wanted to boil water in it. I will be returning this item.
