I have given up on getting this mic to connect. I’m not sure if it’s because I have a newer computer or I just can’t get it. I had my brother who works in IT look and he couldn’t figure it out either. My son has a pretty expensive gaming computer. It looks nice and I may use it on another computer. But I really wanted it to go with my son’s computer for gaming.

While sound quality output may be very good there several offputting features of this very solidly built microphone: 1. It has a dial at its base that says mode and goes from minus at the left to plus on the right with nine dots between them in a circle and also can be pushed in but this does not show what you are doing or changing. 2. You cannot turn off the low-level green, red or blue light emitted from the microphone; it might be pleasant but at some point you want the choice to turn it off or not 3. At the top of the microphone is a very bright blue LED light that you cannot dim or turn off. 4. While it is solidly built it is also very, very heavy which makes it definitely a desktop not a handheld microphone.In addition, there should be a whole lot more information conveyed in the instruction sheet which in fact should be an instruction booklet because there's so many things that this can do that need to be explained.In conclusion: not recommend

I have a Shure and a Yeti, and I can make a comparison between the two. In this case, the quality of this microphone is similar to a Blue Yeti Snowball. Honestly, lately, these economical microphones are coming with very good features, and this is one of them. Additionally, the built-in lights make it look very nice in a gaming room or streaming setup. Very easy to use and at a good price. I recommend it
