added to my aging ddr3 system with i7 4790k. i feel like ddr3 shouldn't cost almost as much as 4 or 5 but this was the best deal i could come up with. unbuffered so you can adjust timing and voltage if you want. haven't overclocked it that much but when i did i had zero crashes.

On a recommendation from a knowledgeable friend I chose two of the A-Tech 8GB pairs to update my Optiplex 9020. His reason was based on reliability. This solved the memory swapping problem that was slowing everything down while I use the I-net to do research which requires me to have 3 to 5 search windows open to verify information from more than one source. Easy install and a truly impressive increase in performance. (pay attention to the colored tabs - one pair per color) Good value.
